Calming The Storm

Chapter fourty-one

               Smoke's pov

Jax, Juice, Nero, Happy, Chibs, and I rolled out. Happy and I are keeping watch. They all kept me out of the room. I don't even wanna know what happened.

Later

We're at the cabin and mom tells Jax and I that a retired marshal has been protecting Clay. As we are outside, there is a gun shot. The hell?! I grab my gun from my cut and get down behind a car. We then see Darvany. Crazy bitch. After a moment when she tried to run Jax took off and tackled her.

"Jax!" I yell.

Nero stopped Jax from killing her. After a while we all went inside and the guys have me staying in the kitchen. I feel so drained. I also feel that something is up for what Jax had Juice do. Then we learn that Darvany is dead. What the hell happened? Later we buried the bodies.

Next day.

Jax and I go to see Clay. Clay tells us he gave us up I got angry. Jax and I looked at each other. I got up and I left the room. After a moment he met me outside.

"I can't believe this." I say.

"I know." He says.

We both went back to the clubhouse and went into a meeting. Tell everyone what has happened.

Then Juice, Happy, Chibs, Tig, and I roll out with Jax. Someone came by shooting, we hit the ground and Juice and Chibs covered me. After a moment we got up slow and walked outside.

"You okay?" Juice asks.

"Yeah. You?" I ask.

"I'm good babe." He says.

"Smoke you and Juice hang back with Colette." Jax tells us.

Colette looked at my tattoos.

"Who is Jaunita?" She asks still looking at my tattoo.

I looked at Juice then back to her.

"Our daughter." I say.

"How old is she?" She asks.

I shook my head and looked to the ground, then back to her.

"I miscarried at six months." I say.

"I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean.. I'm so sorry." She says taking my hand feeling bad. I nod.

A while later

The guys return and we tell them Colette got picked up by one of Barosky's guys.

Jax sent all of us except for Tig back to TM.

Next day

Unser has been attacked. The shop is a absolute mess!! Just great! We went into lockdown.
Then went to talk.

"Smoke, no matter what, somebody is always with you. Nobody is to be alone." Jax says.

"We'll all keep eye on her." Tig says.

"Your not riding your bike for a while. You ride with one of us." Happy says.

"I agree." Juice says.

After a moment the meeting was over. We all walked out and decided to go see Darby.

We are getting some info. As we are here, Jax made me stay by the bikes. When the walked closer I went to them to hear them talking of Tig saying he is Rat-Boy's dad.

"You think I look old enough to be his Ol Man?" Tig asks.

"Well if wash that black shoe polish out of your hair." Juice and I say.
