Smoke's pov

"Your probably gonna dream of them a lot." Happy says.

"I didn't wanna wake up. Especially since Jax was there." I say.

"This is his way of talking to you." He says kissing my head.

Next day

I know I haven't finished Juice's letter. I then brushed that aside, took a shower, got dressed after, and then went and made some coffee. As I poured a cup, Happy came into the kitchen and kissed my head.

"Where do things stand with the MC?" I ask facing him.

"Let's not worry about that baby." He says.

I took a sip of coffee and then looked back up at him.

"I'm more focused if your okay." He says.

"Yes and no but I will be." I say.

"Baby you don't always have to play tough." He says.

Happy's pov

"Yes I do. I have since.." she trialed off and looked down.
I then had hooked my finger under her chin and had her look up at me.

"Since you first got beat I know. You don't have to play badass around me." I say gently.

"Jax taught me to never let my guard down. Not for a second. I know who I can be with you." She says.

"All I see is a broken angel who needs her wings repaired. I promise you I will do that if you let me. I won't let another man hurt you again. You mean so much to me. I know you feel it. It's in your eyes just like when we we're first together." I say.

"Hap, I don't want to loose you is what's wrong." She says.

I then wrapped my arms around her.

"I'm here baby." I say.

She nodded and held me tight.

"All of Charming better know it." She says softly.

"I think they already know darling." I say.

She then slightly pulled back.

"I love you Happy." She says.

"I love you Smoke." I say kissing her.

A moment later

We started to impact boxes.

I pulled out a picture of me, Jax, Juice, and Smoke. She's sitting on mine and Juice's shoulders and Jax is holding her feet. We're all laughing.

"My darling look." I say showing her.

"I won't forget that day. All of you we're trying to make me laugh." She says.

I then hung it on the wall. I turn spurns to see Smoke get another picture. A soft some came across her face. I looked over her shoulder to see it was the day she got her cut.

"I remember that day. He was so proud. I remember when he said that you wanted in. He knew you could handle it. Knew it all along. He was so excited when you had asked if there was any way you could be with us. All of us knew you could handle it. That's why he let you in within a week and didn't make you prospect. Knew you would fit right in. You we're in no matter what. You we're like fine China in his eyes. I won't ever forget when he called everyone up when the first guy laid hands on you. Never seen him so mad or any of us. That's a body I don't even know where it's at. Out of him, Clay, Bobby, or me, I don't know who broke more bones. Done think we never loved you." I say.

"I've always known. I knew you always have. Especially the night you told me you love me when I was nineteen. Party at the club house we danced to 'I'd come for you.' Until that night, I didn't know what that type of love was supposed to feel like. Told me no matter what, it didn't matter what you had going on you'd drop everything and come to me. That you'd bring hell with you." She says.

"I still mean all of it. I love you so much. One thing you always told me was if something was meant to be it will be. Smoke, I think we we're always meant to be. It was just all about time." I say.

"We need to fall sometimes to realize where we are meant to be." She says.

"Why are you so wise?" I ask.

"I live and I learn." She says.

I smile and then kissed her.
