Chapter fouty-four

Smoke's pov

"A lot of eyes could have been on that apartment." I say.

"She's right." Tig says.

We all then left. Took care of the body's.

Later

I'm with the guys we are all talking. We found out Tig kept in touch with Venus. That really surprised me. I mean hey everyone deserves love.

"Should I be worried he stayed in touch?" Jax asks.

" I don't know bro." I say.

After a while we all got done talking to Venus where she could go do her thing.

"Gentlemen. Smoke dear." She says walking away.

"Thanks Venus." I say.

She then walked away.

"Something we need to know?" Jax and I ask Tig.

"We are friends. You know, we got things in common." Tig says.

"Yeah I can think of one thing." Bobby and I say.

"Don't be disrespectful. I'm gonna go upstairs and get her to move it along. Tends to dilly dally." Tig says walking away.

"Okay now I'm worried." Jax says.

"Plus who takes five minutes? I need at least ten." I say.

"Shut up." Jax says shaking his head.

I then laughed.

Later

Jax had me stay with Happy. After a while we had gone to the clubhouse. Happy had let Jax know about talking to Lee.

"We're gonna need help if this unravels." I say.

After a moment the sheriff arrives and we all went down except for Tig.

Wanting to know if we had a thing to do with killing a cop and harming one.

"Of course not." I say.

Someone pulled up outside. Someone Chinese. I looked at Happy confused. Before I could say a word a grenade was thrown in. As Happy grabbed me and we went over the counter I screamed. He covered my body.

"I want Juice." I sob. I'm pretty sure nobody could understand what I said.

Later that night.

I'm still shook up.

"This was a message Jax." I say with my voice shaky.

We all now plan to go to Diosa.

We all arrive and it is an absolute mess. Body's are everywhere. We learn that there is a APB out on Juice. It made my heart sink. I'm upset about it.

Next day

I tried to call Juice and he never picked up. Not once.

While at the studio and talking with Lyla her and I began crying and then we hung onto one another.

"Have you tried to speak with Juice?" She asks pulling away.

"I've tried to call him so many times and he will not pick up the phone." I say.

"I wish I knew what was going on Smoke." She says.

"Me too." I say.

Later

How do we handle payback?

We all roll out.

Gemma says that she is leaving. Jax wanted me to go with her and she said no that he needs me. I then walked out with Happy.
We went to meet with Barosky. Explained what had been happening. Nero is here as well.
