Calming The Storm

Chapter Thirty-two

Smoke's pov

We're at home it's the next day.

"I'm sorry you got hit in the process baby doll." He says.

"I'm used to it." I say.

"Well you shouldn't be. He hit you." He says.

"And now he's dead babe. I've been hit so damn hard in the past, I was knocked out for two days. This little gash ain't nothing." I say.

"Panther it's my job to protect you! That ass hit you!" He says.

"And now he is dead!! We killed him! Just drop it! It's taken care of!" I say.

He let out a sigh and tears formed in my eyes. He then sat on the bed and gently pulled me to him.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to snap." I say.

He then took my into his arms and pulled me closer.

"I'm sorry too." He says.

Later we went to the clubhouse. Chibs had us come back and now once again we are under lock down.

After a while Rosevelt came. He looked to us.

"Mr. and Mrs. Ortiz, you two are needed for a piss test." He says.

"When?" I ask.

"Now." Rosevelt says.

"This is Bull shit." Juice and I say.

Clay told us to go ahead and go and I rolled my eyes and we left.

"The two days are up."Rosevelt when we get there.

"Yeah." Juice says.

"Sample." Rosevelt says.

"Where's the guy that can help us?" Juice asks.

"I'm that guy." Rosevelt says.

"No." I say and lean on my hip.

"Right now I'm just tired of playing who's your daddy. We're gonna bring you the sample. Where do we meet the guy?" Juice asks.

I looked to him then to Rosevelt and then back at Juice. I shook my head and looked to my feet.

Later we all met up again. Rosevelt then cuffed Juice. I also got cuffed.

"What the hell are you doing?" I ask.

"I'm not sure what they want from either of you. Both of you don't get a choice. Both have to coperate." Rosevelt says.

Juice and I let out a sigh.

A while later we went back to the clubhouse.

"How was the piss?" Chibs asks.

"Clean." I say.

"Cone on now, Bobby has some things to tell the both of you." Chibs says.

We walked in but I stopped at the pool table and propped myself against it.

After a moment Clay has Juice and I go into the chapel. Just the three of us.

Juice revived a Men of Mayhem patch and I got a Mayhem patch. We all then stood.

"I love you son." Clay says hugging Juice.

"Love you." Juice says. Clay then came to me.

"I love you my sweet girl." He says hugging me.

"I love you." I say hugging him back.

Later Clay has us go back to the warehouse. After a while Juice has me go to the truck. He is thinking about something. Maybe it's all of this. Maybe it's getting out of here for a while. I then hear motorcycles which broke me from my thoughts. It's Tig and Chibs.

"Where is he?" Tig asks.

"I'm not sure I was told to stay at the truck for a moment." I say.

Chibs and I then went to find him.

"Juicy-boy!" Chibs says.

We then found him.

"Where were you?" I ask.

"Had to piss." Juice says.

He's lying.

The next day we are at the clubhouse where a shootout came about and Juice covered me and covered my ears. After a while we had went outside. There is a bag of heads.

"Oh shit." I say.

"That's." Juice says.

"Armando." Piney and I say.

"Smokey, Juice, you two with me." Chibs says.

We went and got into the van and left.

"So the two of you finally tied the knot?" He asks.

I looked to Juice and then to Chibs.

"We went to a justice of the peace. Plan to do a wedding later." Juice says.

"Clay or Jax know?" He ask.

"Not yet. Glad they didn't hear Rosevelt the other day." I say.

"I'm not gonna say anything. I'm happy for you two." He says.

Juice and I then smiled.

We're at the barn.

I'm standing my off to the side and Chibs and I are talking.

"Do you and Juice plan on trying again?" He asks.

"We haven't talked about it.. I mean I don't know. I'm afraid that I'll have another miscarriage." I say.

"I understand that love. You we're six months right?" He asks.

"Yes. I miss her so much. She looked just like Juice. She only had my nose. She was perfect. Just like him." I say.

Later.

Juice says he needs to go to the warehouse but has me stay. After a while Chibs and I left out to the warehouse. We walked up to him when we found him.

"The two of you scared me." Juice says.

I then looked to the ground and see the chain. It felt like for a split second my heart stopped. I dropped to the ground crying. I knew he was lying. I didn't think it was about this. Chibs started yelling at Juice and I started crying more. Then Juice started to get upset, I finally got up and went to Juice and held him as we both cried. Then Chibs wrapped his arms around the both of us.

Next day Chibs told Jax about what happened.

Jax looked at me and I had tears in my eyes and then he realized what had happened.

"I don't know what happened man. I guess doing the time. The Russians. Then Miles. As well as thinking about loosing Jaunita." He says.

Once he said that the tears fell down my face.

"It was a mistake. I know that." Juice says.

"Give is a minute. Smoke, you and him talk." Jax says. The two walked out and I looked to Juice.

"We need to fix this baby." I say.

"I know." He says.

"Baby I love you so much." I say.

"I love you babe. I messed up I know that." He says.

"We gotta get out of the cartel. It's taking a tole on me too. It's scaring the hell out of me." I say.

"What do you mean babe?" He asks.

"You remember that guy you scared off about a year ago?" I ask.

"He was in a cartel." I say.
