Calming The Storm

Chapter Thrity-four

              Smoke's pov

As we sit here, I think back to the conversation I had with Jax.

"Sis I know this ain't easy. I can't imagine what your thinking." Jax says.

"Jax, all I know is if.. I ain't saying it but. I know in my heart that there ain't no life for me without him." I say.

"What?" Jax asks.

"If he dies, I'm dying too. Without him there isn't a thing for me." I say.

"Smoke you can't be serious." Jax says.

"Jax lam serious. I can't live without him. I refuse too. I've never felt like this for anyone. He is the love of my life Jackson. I don't want anyone else." I say.

"I see that. I can't stop your choices. I may not like some things that you do. I know your serious." He says.

"He's become my life besides the club." I say.

"I know. I can see it in your eyes. I understand why the two of you went to a justice of the piece. I know your not ready for a wedding dress (he says while laughing.) Don't let people tell you that the two of you jumped into it. This was a long time coming sis." He says.

"Yeah I ain't too sure when the time comes if I'll wear a dress.( I say while laughing) I do know I want him and only him." I say.

After a while Lincoln came to us and speaks with Juice. He tells us about a deal. When he walked out I looked to Juice.

"What's gonna happen now?" I ask.

Later.

Juice and I roll in at the same time as Opie and Chibs.

"Where the hell have the two of you been?" Chibs asks us.

"Rosevelt picked us up." I say.

"We know love." Chibs says.

"Then what?" Opie asks.

"We wanted to clear our heads." Juice and I say.

"We went to Yosemite. We should have checked in." Juice says.

"Well the two of you should have stayed. Shit has hit the fan." Opie says.

I then look to Juice. Then I looked back to Op.

"Lobo tried to take Tara this morning." Opie says.

I shook my head as I could feel anger.

"Is my brother okay?" I ask.

"He's with Tara. Yes. Come on." Chibs.

I felt a un easy feeling but kept it to myself.

What would happen if Juice and I left Charming for good? What would Jax say? What would mom say?

Later Juice, Tig, Chibs, Bobby, and I were at the hospital. Then Rosevelt was there as well. Oh great.

He wants to speak with us so we told the guys we would catch up.

"What do you want?" Juice and I ask. 

"I want to apologize. I'm getting tossed around by the DA just as much as the both of you." He says.

After a moment I blocked out Juice and Rosevelt. Then we walked away.

"We need to get all of this sorted out. I wanna talk to you about something later. It ain't bad I promise. It's actually a idea." I say.
