Chapter fifty-three

               Smoke's pov

Next day

Happy and I got up and went to TM.

"You okay to work sweetheart?" Chibs asks.

"I'm only going to be be in the office. I mean it hurts but gotta do it at some point." I say.

Tig then hugged me.

"You've always been so brave sweet pea." He says letting me go.

"Gotta be in this life." I say.

"Your not wrong sweetheart." Chibs says.

"We're gonna get some work done. I'll be checking on you." Happy says kissing my head.

                  Tig's pov

We got into the shop and Chibs closed the office door.

"She really should be resting." I say.

"You know how she is. She's stubborn as hell and won't listen." Happy says.

"You can say that again." Chibs says with a smile.

"I tried to get her to stay home. Even told her I'd tie her ass to the bed if I had too." Happy says.

"What did she have to say about that?" I ask.

"Gave me a smart ass remark." Happy says while laughing.

"Of course she did." I say.

We all then laughed.

"I even tired to put her pajamas back on her. That didn't work on my part." Happy says shaking his head.

"I don't even wanna know." Chibs and I say.

"How has she been taking things?" I ask.

"She dreams of Jax a lot and doesn't wanna wake up." Happy says.

"Does she talk about the dreams?" Chibs asks.

"No but, I can tell each time she wakes up different. Re thinks things and I know that because I can see the wheels in her head turn." Happy says.

"Well my advice Hap, don't let that Flicka get to far." Chibs says.

"Flicka?" I ask.

"Pretty girl. I used to call her that all the time." Chibs says.

"She's not going to." Happy says.

"I see a side she brings out in you. It's a good thing. You deserve her." I say.

"The both of you still are hard asses." Chibs says.

"Makes you two better." I say.

"Remember how Juice wrote her that letter?" Happy asks.

"Yeah." Chibs says.

"She hasn't finished it." Happy says.

"She's not ready to finish it yet. It still hurts. Yes she loves you like crazy but she's still gonna love him as well." I say.

"They we're married five in a half years. We all know how she loves." Chibs says.

"She loves deep and hard. I don't expect her to stop loving him. I know she always will love him. And I know she loves me too." Happy says.

"She's loved you since she was nineteen. The two of you have a love that's hard to come by. None of this is easy on her." Chibs says.

Later

We all decided to go out. Chibs and I are watching them dance.

We watch her sing as they swing around. Happy has a smile as well. Their eyes only on each other.

"Her smile is back." I say.

"Aye. That's a good thing." Chibs says.

Next day

               Smoke's pov

Happy and I woke up at the same time.

"You realize Tig and Chibs saw our soft side right?" I ask.

"It was bound to happen. They know only my Ol Lady can do that." Happy says with a smile. I then smile as well, lean over and kiss him.

"Hap." I say laying back down.

"Yes my darling." He says taking my hand.

"I've been thinking a lot." I say.

"About?" He asks.

"Our future.. You know I'd do anything for you.. I just wish I could give you kids but at the same time I don't think it's a good idea." I say.

"I'm okay with that babe. I still love you no matter what." He says.

I then smiled and kissed him.

Later at TM

                   Tig's pov

The guys and I are talking when I happen to look up and watch Smoke collapse.

"Smoke!!" I say dropping the wrench running to the office.

Chibs and Happy ran in with me.

"Baby." Happy says as he gently lifts her head into is lap.

While in black out Smoke's pov

I see Juice.

"What? What's going on?" I ask.

"Don't be afraid to get re married. It's okay Smoke. You love Happy, I see that. Always have. You two are amazing together." He says.

"So we're we." I say sticking my hands in the back pockets of my jeans.

"I know. Marry Happy and don't look back." He says.

"I love him a lot Juice. I also still love you." I say.

"I know you do. I'm serious Smoke. Marry him. You deserve so much love." He says.

"Thanks.. At times, I wish you could still be here. Jax too. I think about the both of you a lot Juice." I say.

"You don't get over someone in a second. We we're married for almost six years. I'm keeping my promise you know? I'm not gonna let you go unloved. Not for a second." He says hugging me.

"That explains Happy." I say.

I then woke up.

"Oh baby." Happy says as I sit up and hug him.

"Are you okay?" Chibs asks.

"I'm better now." I say.
