"Watch your mouth, Jen." Lalisa's eyes pierced at the furious woman. Cheek's still swollen from the slapped and her body wrack in heavy breathing to stop all her instinct impulse to protect the man beside her.
The smaller girl who saw Lalisa's sudden change of mood, made her scoff. This city had really changed the two of their members for good. First, Yoongi who stupidly fell in love with an upper class then this brunette who starting to fall as well. "Your job's done, Lily. We'll take it from here." Jennie smirked, taking Hoseok's grip on her waist. "Say that to Suga as well. Me and Hobi will take the job from now on because apparently you two failed. The community can't use frail hearted spies." Jennie look at her from head to toe as if she was belittling her. She then let out an unamused chuckle before stepping back to walk away from her apartment.
She gestured Hoseok to follow her as she left a few words before fully turning her back. "Thank us in the future, Lily."
A moment after her door closes, Lalisa let out the breath she has been holding the entire time. Their community had been attacked and some of them are hiding here in the city. What were they even thinking of running here?! It feels like they had been trick to go inside the Lions den. Because one thing Lalisa is sure about, Parallel City is no haven.
"They need me."
"Lisa, are you okay?" She only got awoken from her trance when Taehyung's calm deep voice entered her ears.
"I- I'm okay." The brunette tried reverting all those thoughts away but Taehyung already read her. He heaved a deep breath, rubbing the small part of her back trying to soothe her as he said, "We really need to talk, Lalice."
She has no escape. "Let's call, Yoongi first."
The mint haired lad took less than half an hour to reached Lisa's dormitory. He came rushing after hearing the news, Yoongi felt responsible for it. He should've noticed it but it was like as if, the enemy knows their every move. The community got attacked at the same time Lisa was ambushed inside that hotel bar. Too suspicious to be coincidental, Yoongi must find the rat or else it would be too late.
"The clash of band is tomorrow, Jennie and Hoseok can't roam around the metropolis, it's too dangerous." Lisa turn her body around after taking the kettle on the kitchen counter, she served Yoongi a black coffee and a cocoa to Taehyung because she knew he hates anything that is bitter.
That simple gesture from the brunette, warms him. But when he saw Yoongi eyeing him with an obvious grimace, Taehyung cleared his throat and focus on the matter. "Can you tell me what's going on first?"
"Tae, stay out of this." His question didn't linger much in the air, Lisa opened her mouth, only to shut him off from the topic.
What is he doing here then? As much as Lisa wanted him out, Taehyung is very much a part of this madness.
