Hari: PREVIOUSLY ON REDBYE:

Flip frowns as they nod.
Flip: Yeah.
Jing: Someone sent the pictures to everyone in our school.
Clara: The whole school has seen my nude picture?
Flip & Jing nod, Clara cries.
Berry: The trials in a few days.
Gem: Your surprisingly calm.
Berry: I'm taking it slowly, being calm is the best option.
Taylor: Have you heard anything from the police?
Rachel: Nope, whenever I ask they just tell me it was a racially provoked attack & they're looking into further, how much further can they look into it? Racist bastards, that's all they are.
Taylor: I bet if this was the murder of a white man they'd be on it.
James: You come to give me something for this headache?
Someone in a black hoodie injects James with an unknown substance, the person runs as he goes into cardiac arrest.

In the hospital:
Celine is behind the desk.
Chloe: You ok?
Celine: Yeah, why wouldn't I be?
Chloe: After what happened on New Year's Day-
Celine: Why would I be cut up over the death of a peadophile?
Chloe: You had some sort of connection to him though.
Celine: No, the only "connection" I had to that vile piece of shit was that he manipulated my underage sisters into sex & nearly married my mother alright?!
Chloe: Alright!
She storms off.
-Can't even have a normal conversation without biting someone's head off.
Dennis: Chloe? Celine?
Celine wipes her face.
-What's wrong?
Celine: It's just my pregnancy, I'm extremely hormonal right now.
Dennis smiles.
Dennis: Y'know, something doesn't quite add up about James' death.
Celine: What'd you mean?
Dennis: He was fine one minute & the next cardiac arrest.
She raises an eyebrow.
Celine: Well, that can happen.
Dennis: Not in Mr Pullman's state, I'm gonna request a look at his blood & other bodily fluids to see if there is anything inside of him that there shouldn't be.
Celine: So you think someone gave him the wrong m-medication?
Dennis: Potentially! Who knows?
He walks off, Celine shudders.
In the Lau's:
Siobhan comes in.
Toshiko: Thanks for coming.
Siobhan: What's up?
Toshiko: I can't decide what wallpaper I want.
Siobhan: I thought there was some sort of emergency!
Toshiko: This is an emergency, I'm extremely indecisive about my new wallpaper.
Siobhan: I like the floral pattern.
Toshiko: So do I but I don't know if I want it in pink or blue.
Siobhan: The patterns nice, however the colours are too bright, wouldn't match the contrast between the painted walls & well. That.
Toshiko: I think this whole place could do with a redo, we brought it off of the Gregorys.
Siobhan: Lisa did always have a good eye for decor Lord rest her soul.
Toshiko: So any ideas?
Siobhan: Maybe white walls with a sort of textured & patterned wallpaper, brown carpet & a red sofa & a few plants here & there.
Toshiko: You might be on to something.
Siobhan: Better start ordering then!
Toshiko: Yes, I'll get Jing to help me with the refunds on the stuff I brought for no reason.
In the village:
Flip & Clara are walking through the village.
Flip: Would Chester really do that?
Clara: I don't know, we've been going out since like October.
Flip: Is there anyone who has it in for you?
Clara: Mila!
Flip: Mila?
Clara: Yeah the bitchy blonde at the party.
Flip: Oh the one who has a face like a slapped arse?
Clara laughs.
Clara: Yeah, that's it.
Flip: Well I guess we'd better speak to her.
Clara: You know where she lives?
Flip: Course I do! We were bezies in primary.
Clara: Poor you.
Flip: I know.
Rachel: Oi! Cohen!
D.S. Cohen: & a happy new year to you too.
Rachel: Why aren't you doing anything about Arlo?
D.S. Cohen: We're doing as much as possible.
Rachel: Are you? Because there's been more development on that brick that went through the corner shop window than my Arlo's death.
D.S. Cohen: What are you trying to say?
Rachel: Your 'taking your time' on Arlo's case because he was black, if this was the death of a white person, you'd be on it like a swarm of flies to a pile of rotting fruit.
D.S. Cohen: Your accusing me of being a racist now are you?
Rachel: Yeah. Yeah I am.
A taxi pulls up, Molly, Destiny, Flynn & Patrick get out.
Patrick: Home sweet home!
Flynn: & finally a break from Mairead & Claire!
Molly: Isn't that good.
Destiny: Thank you for having us bus driver!
Molly: Dest, that's a taxi.
Destiny: Oh is it? What's the one which is in the sky?
Molly: That's an airplane.
Destiny: Is that is what brought us home?
She shakes her head.
Molly: God give me strength.
Flynn laughs.
-& what are you laughing at?
Flynn: Nothing.
He laughs again.
In the Kane's:
Berry sits down at the table with Dave, Audrey, Gem & Hari.
Berry: This looks nice.
Gem: Yeah, got the recipe from one of them BBC mags.
Dave eats a piece of chicken from his fork.
Dave: Lovely.
Audrey clears her throat.
Audrey: It's a bit dry.
Hari: It's chicken Audrey, it's supposed to be dry.
Dave: Hari, she's your mother.
Hari: Oh fuck off.
Berry: Hari?
Gem: Harry just calm down please.
Hari: No! I am not going to sit her & pretend that everything is ok when it's not! Berry & I will be finding out tomorrow what the rest of our life will be like!
Hari opens the door.
Gem: Hari!
She slams the door behind her.
Dave: Hari!

AFTER-SCENE:
Celine shuts the door, she puts her bag & coat down.
Carla: So, we know that your pregnancy hormones have been bastards recently so we booked a romantic get away for you & Freddie.
Callum: & don't worry about what we'll be doing whilst Nana spends time at bingo, Toshiko from a few doors down will be keeping an eye on us.
Celine: Thanks guys!
She hugs them.
-Thanks.
Freddie comes down the stairs.
Freddie: What's up?
Celine: We are going away for a bit.
Freddie: Ooo! Nice one.
