-On the 8th July 2021, Jack Dawson died in an altercation involving one Rebecca Nolan; Andrea Nolan & Patricia Fisher.
Rebecca: Yes your honour, Andrea, my daughter ran up the stairs to get some clothes & stuff for me so I could stay out of town for a bit, however Jack being Jack had other ideas, he tried to run up the stairs after me, however he tripped over his feat & hit his head, Patricia & I tried to run out & he got up & hit his head on the door, that's what killed him.
Cath: That seems to all be in order, no further questions are needed.
Rebecca: Yes your honour.
Cath: Now all that awaits are the other statements.
George: Yeah but what if today goes wrong? What if one of you trip up?
Andrea: We won't, Patricia's giving her POV on a video clip which they'll play in the court. We've all said the same things. Nothing can go wrong.

Mila & Beth are sat in the public gallery.
Mila: Proper exciting this ain't it?
Beth: Shut-up.
Sammy: What are you doing here? You don't know Andrea.
Beth: She dragged me here.
Sammy taps the top of her head.
Sammy: Stupid.
Mila: Well since when were you & Ms Nolan besties?
Sammy: We're not but Harper's been a good friend to me, when my husband died she was there for me, least I can do.
Cath: All rise.
Andrea steps into the box.
Andrea: I Andrea Nolan swear by oath that the evidence I give today will be the truth & nothing but the truth.

Andrea: Yes, your honour.
Cath: Now can I just ask, when will Patricia Fisher give her account of events?
Beth: Patricia was involved?
Lawyer: No.

Andrea looks panicked, she gulps.
Cath: You seem panicked by that.
Andrea looks at Rebecca she nods. Giles stands up.
Giles: Oh for gods sake. Anyone can see that this is a farce!
Harper: Sit down you stupid man!
Giles: Shut the fuck up you little bitch.
George: I'd sit down if I were you mate.
Harper: Your father was a wife-beating piece of shit! He deserved everything he got!
Giles leans in on her.
-What are you gonna do? You gonna hit me? Father like son eh?
Andrea: Stop it! All of you! Just stop!
Harper looks at Andrea, Andrea tears up, she runs out, Sammy runs after her.
Cath: Can someone remove him from the room please?
Giles: It's fine I'm going.
He walks towards the door.
-Whatever you lot are playing at, you'll slip up.
He walks out.
In a room:
Sammy: Andrea?
Andrea: What have I done?
Sammy: What are you talking about?
Andrea tears up.
Andrea: How stupid could I be to get them to revisit the case?
Sammy: Are you saying that jack DIDN'T hit his head?
Andrea nods.
-Oh.
Andrea: There's no way out of this is there?
Sammy: So Rebecca did kill Jack?
Andrea shakes her head.
-But you said he hit his head whilst chasing you.

Andrea tears up.
Andrea: It was me.
Sammy: What?
Andrea: It was me. I killed dad.
Noreen, Harper & George are stood in the doorway.
George: What?
Noreen: It was you?
Andrea cries.
Andrea: Yeah.
Sammy tries to hug her.
Andrea: Don't touch me.
Cath comes in.
Cath: Everything ok?
Harper: Yeah. Just a bit of a domestic.
Cath: Right.
Cath walks out of the room.
Noreen: You need to confess love.
George: The quicker you face time you'll be back at home with us watching TV complaining about how stupid naked attraction is or that show where they all try to flirt in different languages.
Andrea: I'll do it. I'll tell the truth.
Lovely stops playing.
In the court room:
Cath: You ready?
Andrea nods.

Andrea: On the 8th July 2021, in a heated argument, I killed jack Dawson by hitting him over the head with a table ornament.
Rebecca: Get away!
Jack grabs her hair.
Jack: Your gonna pay.
He slams her face into a wall making her nose bleed.
Patricia: Stop it! Stop it!
Andrea: Leave her the fuck alone!
Andrea hits him over the head with a deer candle holder.
Mila's jaw drops, Beth covers her mouth.
Rebecca: Andrea.
Andrea: George was right, I was never gonna pull this off.

Outside of the court:
Rebecca: I'm free.
George: Yeah.
Rebecca: But at the cost of my daughter's freedom.
Sammy: You two!
Mila & Beth turn around.
Mila: Yeah?
Sammy: Do NOT repeat a word of what happened here today to anyone at school. Not a word.
Beth: Got it.
Giles walks by, he's clearly drunk.
Giles: (slurred) You got out did you?
Rebecca: Go home Giles. Your drunk.
He drags himself away as a police car pulls up, Andrea is escorted out by two police officers.

(Slow motion): Andrea is put into the police car.
Rebecca: My baby.
Andrea puts her hand on the window, Rebecca puts her hand on the window also.
Andrea: (mouthing) I love you mum.
Rebecca: (mouthing) I love you too sweetheart.
The car drives off. Noreen, Harper, George, Rebecca, Sammy, Mila & Beth watch on.
