Harper looks out the window & George is looking in the mirror slowly flicking at his hair.
Harper: He smells nice, hair is combed, shoes are clean, definitely a new shirt if I was guessing you're going on a date?
George: Ha Ha very funny.
Harper pulls a smug face.
Harper: Aren't I just. So which poor woman will be cursed with your presence?
George: Roisa.
Harper: Good luck Roisa.
George: Oi!
Harper laughs.
Harper: About time, you've been faffing around since you laid eyes on her.
George: Well in all fairness we've both been in & out of the village after covid.
Harper: Meh. I still can't believe that I was gone for over 10 years before I came back here.
George: I can believe it. Ten years of pure peace & quiet.
Harper laughs.
Harper: I'd take mum's brolly if I were you.
George: Don't worry I intend to.
In the hospital:
Sam: Right Joanie so I've had a look at the lump & I'm afraid it's not good news.
Nana: What?
Sarah: No.
Sarah covers her face.
Nana: The lump it's not a cyst is it?
Sam shakes his head.
Sam: No, no it's not I'm sorry. We have a slot tomorrow that's free.
Sarah: For what?!
Sam: To have the lump removed that way we can tell wether it's cancerous.
Nana: I'll do it.
Sam: Ok.
Sarah walks out of the room.
Outside of the hospital:
Sarah falls to the floor & starts to cry.
Lee: Sarah?
Sarah: Mum's lump. It's not a cyst.
Lee: Oh my god.
He hugs her.
Sarah: I don't wanna loose her Lee.
Lee: I don't want to either. I've only just found him.
He cries as he puts his arms around Sarah.
In the school:
Lorraine: Thanks for meeting me Louis.
Louis: No problem.
Lorraine: We have multiple new students & staff members arriving next week.
Louis: Quite a few.
Lorraine: Yes but there's something about a member of staff I need to inform you about.
Louis: What? Is it health stuff? Criminal record?
Lorraine: Isla Bullock, she'll be replacing you as head.
Louis: What?! Why?!
Lorraine: In all fairness Louis, your management of the school is to blame for your change in job, allowing an armed group of men on site, a pedo teacher, allowing a staff member to cut open a child to deliver a b-
Louis: That was justified.
Lorraine: I. Don't. Care. What I say goes remember that your lucky I'm keeping you here at all.
In the Kaczmarek's:
Ewa opens the door, Katja & Lena are holding Jan back from Eryk who is on the floor.
Naomi: Jan Kaczmarek? I'm arresting you for actual bodily harm-
Jan: You called the police?
Ewa: It's to calm him down it's what he needs.

Sarah goes into the bathroom, she looks in the mirror & cries.

Roisa stands at the door, George comes in.
Roisa: Shall we?

They smile & walk towards the bar.
In the living room:
Nana sits on the sofa she cries.
Lee: Mum?
Nana: I'm scared Lee. I'm scared.

She puts her head on his shoulder.
