Jack Veramente and Dahlia Coy: The Most Mysterious Couple of All Time and The Internet is Obsessed!

He read the title of the article and felt his heart ache, like someone had reached in and squeezed it to a pulp. Yet, he pushed through it.

Quickly, he scanned through the unusually long article to learn that essentially, no one is very sure of the relationship between Jack and Dahlia. No one truly knows if the two of them are just really good friends or lovers who are keeping their relationship out of the public eye. Now that Dahlia is a lot more well known to the public, a lot more people are demanding to know if they are set as a couple officially. They both like to avoid the question of their relationship when it is brought up by interviewers, so it's been universally understood as this unspoken rule that people are not allowed to ask about them.

Pete thought a lot about what Dahlia had said about it, how her and Jack are friends with benefits and 'nothing more.'

What if she was lying about there being nothing more than that? What if she has feelings for him? What if she's developing feelings for him? The guy's kinda fucked, I really don't want that kind of shit on me if she really feels a type of way for him...

Pete had this in his mind since he last saw her at the SNL studio. He's had the thought of Jack and his reaction to Pete spending the night plague his mind as it kept replaying in his mind.

When Pete isn't freaked out by how intense Jack really is, he finds himself thinking about Dahlia. A lot.

For the last couple of days, Pete has woken up with Dahlia being the first thing on his mind and falling asleep with Dahlia being the last thing on his mind. The thought of her alone gets him feeling gleeful and cheery, yet at the same time the presence of her in his mind sends daggers to his stomach, a much more passionate reaction that simple butterflies could not accomplish. Just the thought of talking to her again causes Pete to forget how to breathe.

It doesn't help knowing that Dahlia has not tried to reach out to him. He can't muster up the willpower to reach out to her first, so he assumes that she'd have no trouble in reaching out to him first.

It's better this way, Pete rationalized. I'll give her some space. I don't want her to think I'm smothering her by texting her everyday all the time.

It fucking sucks because I'd love to be with her again, smoke with her again, and just talk about whatever she wants. Just to be in her presence again.

Pete was on a walk in the heart of the city, enjoying the crisp early morning weather as he felt it on his bare shins. His fashion sense was a lot more carefree since he hasn't been into work since last weekend, and since he's seen Dahlia face to face in person.

He had on orange basketball shorts and a black band tee. It was only once he made it to the city that he regretted not wearing a pair of sweats over top of the shorts.

The earbuds comfortably sitting in his ears played Playboi Carti's Control as he strolled down the street, looking down at his phone as he walked. While reading an article about Dahlia's relationship with Jack, Pete received a notification that rang through his AirPods. It was a news alert for any and all things pertaining to him.

Several articles popped up on his screen, almost all of them talking about new footage of Pete and Dahlia seen 'frolicking' together. The clips of them have been in the news since Sunday, Pete was surprised to just be learning of this so late.

I wonder what Dahlia thinks of this... has she even seen the videos yet?

"If Jack saw these videos, we can't imagine how he'd react to seeing his girl with the SNL star. We personally hope Jack hasn't been keeping up with the news recently..." one site commented. This tied a knot in Pete's gut, reading about it and further thinking about what she thought about Jack.
