Chapter 16- What a rude behaviour

I found Cain on the floor.

His mouth is full of cookies. He cannot talk with that much food in his mouth.

"Wh-what are you looking at?! Who gave you permission to get in here?! I didn't say anything! It must be my mom! Again this woman getting in my way!"

The last sentence got on my nerves.

Why is he talking like that about his own mother?!

It is his own mother!

From her character I can tell she is trying her best for her son!

Before I could gain control of myself,I slapped Cain slightly on the cheek.

"Cough! Cough!"

Did that made him choke?

I pat him on the back in case he can't breathe at all.

After one minute I hear him gulp.

"Ha! Ha! You almost killed me awful woman! Why is every woman so useless? You only cause trouble for me!"

After shouting he got up and walked away.

I am left here...Alone...Me and my thoughts.

"Just what is wrong with that brat?!"I murmur with an angry tone.

I don't understand why he acts this way!

Does he has no manners?

I hope miss Suzanne didn't hear that from the living room.

I get up and grab two cookies before going back.

I hope he is alright at least.

Did I hit him too hard?

I moved my hand without thinking...

I go back with guilt in my heart.

I didn't look at Cain for the rest of the night.

I think that he rather liked having me ignore him.

He says that I just cause trouble...

Cain and miss Suzanne are about to leave.

Mom went to shake hands with miss Suzanne and patted Cain on the head.

"Wh-what are you doing to me?!Take your dirty hand away from my hair!"Cain said with a pout.

Instead of letting go ,mom patted him more and stroked his hair.

"...D-Damn-" Cain said, while his cheeks took the colour of a tomato.

Mom smiled gently and said:

"You should show your cute side more often~ How will people get close to you if you hide?"

Her voice is so calming and reassuring.

I am so lucky to have her as my mother.

Cain didn't reply. He looked down and went completely silent.

Miss Suzanne also patted him on the head.

"Ahaha my son is super cute but some things hold him back. I hope that he will talk to me about them one day..."

Cain looked up in confusion.
