Alex haven't stopped talking about this matter all day...

Now I am finished shopping all the ingredients we need.

"Are you going to help me or just stare at space Alex? This must stay between us.As you said it can be very damaging to everyone.This mustn't reach  Endymion father's ears."

She nodded and helped me carry everything back at home.

"Damn those were heavy!"I said and sighed.

I am going to Endymion's room to clean it.

"Bye Alex! Say hi to Lilly from me!I am going to clean young master's room!"I shouted while I was exiting the main hall.

Alex didn't reply?

I went back and she wasn't there.

Were did she go?

Something seems fishy here...

I went outside.

"KYAAAA! You bastard! Get away!"

Alex's voice?!

It is coming from the other side of the garden!

I ran to her.

"Alex! Who is trying to hurt you-"

I remain stunned when I saw that sight.

"There are cats here?!"I said suprised.

Where did they came from?

I have never noticed them.

"Alex are you okay?Can you get up?"

I helped her get up by grabbing her hand and pulling her up.

"Out of  nowhere they jumped on me.I am scared of cats!"Alex said and hid behind me.

"Meow!Meow!"

One cat approached me.

I reached out and petted it gently.

I am a cat person so this is heaven for me!

"Why are you so cute?! How many are there Alex? "

She trembled behind me.

"Welll...I think that there are 6 cats.Why did you jump on me scary?!"

"Why are you so scared of cats Alex?"

"Well...I always wanted to pet them but they never let me...They just scratch and bite me!"

I picked up a cat and showed it to her.

"Does it seem like it will hurt you Alex?"I said and giggled.

"No... Not this one...Should I try touching it?B-but..."

No matter how much she tries to be cold around the rest of the maids she is too cute to be true...

Will I get a nosebleed any time soon? Too much cuteness around me.

Alex hesitated at first but touched the cat's head.

"Meow! Purrrr"

Her face lights up and her eyes shined like stars for a moment.

"Woah!!! It is the first time a cat let me pet it! Maybe it is because you hold it Rose!"

I was actually thinking of letting her carry the cat but....

Oh well I have no choice.

I should show Endymion later!

Maybe he knows they come here from time to time?

I stare at space for a bit but I spotted a car parking in front of the house.

Alex also noticed.

"It is master's men...The mafia men..."

The door opened and three men with black suites came outside.

They pretended that they don't see us right?

I watched them as they enter the house.

What business does Endymion's father have this time?

I don't see many men like those around here often.

"Useless!!!"

"Was that a scream?"Alex said worried.

"It sounds like master's voice.He must be angry at those men."

I wonder...

"Do you anything about this Rose?"

Why did she think I knew something about this situation?

"Well- You are close to young master so maybe he could have told you?"

Endymion did show trust.

Should I risk asking him tonight?

"Endymion is calling!"

I rushed there.

He must be tired from work.

I heard he also got involved with those men.

I knocked.

"Can I come in young master?"

No answer was given.

Should I just go in?

I opened the door but Endymion wasn't there.

"Huh?"

"Hmmm!!!Hmph!"someone grabbed me from the back and put a hand over my mouth.

Who are you?!

It isn't time to be scared.

I gather all my strength and punched the person on the face.

That person is rather tall so it was easier for me.

"Ah!"

The hands let go of me!

I grabbed both of the hands and punched the person once more.

"Who are you?!What do you want from young master?!"

I can't see.

It is so dark.

"Please spare me..."

"Huh?"

I ran and turned the lights on.

"Cain?!"

What is he doing here?!

He gasped.

"Who are you? A maid or a murderer? What a unique way of welcoming visitors..."he said and frowned.

It was self defense stupid...

I bowed.

"I am sorry mister Cain.I didn't mean to hit you but it was pure instinct.Would you like something?"

He seems satisfied with my attitude.

"No thank you.Is Endymion here by any chance?"

"Yes he must in his office since he isn't in his room.Would you like me to accompany you?"
