Chapter 69- The ball that became a battlefield

Cain stepped forward and stood next to me.

He glared at Endymion's father.

"What is the meaning of this?! " shouted the scum in distress.

He grabbed his hair with both of his hands.

"Ed! Ash! Come out! My followers!" he shouted and glared at the crowd.

People started to panic but couldn't leave because the doors were locked.

"What is the meaning of this mister?!"said a woman furious at master.

"She is right. Both sides are acting so suspicious! Is this even peace?!" shouted another man angrily.

President stayed silent with a smile on his face.

Endymion's father was taken aback.

His followers came from the crowd except Ed and Ash.

So they were trying to blend in. As expected.

"Everyone calm down!" he shouted.

"Men! Take them out! They came to ruin the peace we agreed on !" he said and gave us a murderous glare.

This time I am not the one in danger m.i.s.t.e.r.

I chuckled.

"What do you mean sir? We have evidence that you kidnapped Cain. I was also forced to stay in your house. Let's not forget the assassination attempts. What bullshit about peace?" I said.

I glanced at Endymion and he smirked at me.

"Move now Endy. "I said.

He did as I said and now my gun is pointed at master.

" Consider yourself  dead" Endymion said with a scary expression and took his gun out too.

"I am on their side. "said Cain and turned to the crowd.

"Everyone listen. We have gathered evidence from those assassination attempts. My family and I were victims. Such a dangerous man should not be allowed to exist. " he said determined.

Endymion's father suddenly smirked and spoke up.

"Oh , so you kids want to play it this way. Alright then.My men... End those who stand in my way! Give these people the example of what will happen to those who oppose me !"

His army of men started running towards us but the guards stopped them.

The ball had turned into a battlefield.

I didn't leave master out of my sight for even a second.

I know what he is capable of.

I guess we need to go to the second part of the plan.

Let's show those people who they should really trust.

"Everyone! Please listen to me! This is dangerous! Get behind the guards!"I shouted.

The crowd together with the president did as I said and now it is only me, him , Cain and Endymion.

I glanced at Endymion.

Does he want to kill him?

Judging by his expression he is seriously considering it.

I sighed and lowered my gun.

I moved my hand and placed it on his back.

"I am here. You aren't fighting alone anymore." I whispered in his ear and patted him.

He focused on me and smiled.

"I know Elena. Thank you."he said and his gaze was soft.

"Hey you two. Quit flirting and let's get him already."said Cain clearly pissed.

I gave him the side eye.

"Alright as you say mister." I said and my eyes fell again on the place master was standing.

He is trembling with anger.

"You...You! If it wasn't for you useless brats!"he said and took his gun out and pointed at me.

Will he try to shoot me first?

"Take this. You bitch!" he shouted and shot at my direction.

"Ed! Ash! " I shouted.

They appeared out of nowhere and snatched me away before I could get injured.

Master started laughing like a maniac.

"You must be joking! Even those two chose to betray me ! Now you are dead for real." he said and started running towards me.

Come. I dare you.

When he was half way, Endymion got in front of me and shot at his leg.

Master fell and screamed from the pain.

"Don't you dare come any closer to her." he said.

Endymion~ Ah~ How can he be so cool?~

To have him be so protective of me, makes me feel too safe to even flinch.

Endymion snatched his father's gun out of his hand and threw it away.

Cain kicked him in the stomach and master coughed up some blood.

Ed and Ash stood by me to protect me.

"D-Damn you!" he shouted.

"You will pay for causing trouble. You are completely defenseless now. Your men are too busy taking out the guards"said Cain.

"Ah. Finally , you said something good ." me and Endymion said at the same time.

He ignored us and went to check on the guards.

Master had lost his mind. He was breathing heavily but still stood up and managed to get away from Endymion by pushing him away with all his might.

He screamed like an animal and took out his sword.

He started running towards us with full speed.

"H-He has really gone insane"I said.

Endymion covered me and took out his sword as well.

The two angry men started crossing swords
