Chapter 43- Lisa got rejected

I can't believe I agreed to do this...

She really made me deliver a package to this noble's house.

I am standing outside the door of a very big house. It is decorated with gold and are those crystals?! It has a very unique design on the walls as a well.

I knocked on the door.

"Dear! The package came! I wanted to see those perfumes so badly!"

"Oh yes! I had completely forgotten dear."

I hear steps.

For some reason those voices sounds similar.

Like my family here...

No!

My family doesn't exist anymore.

It is only alive in my head...

I gloomed but kept a professional smile.

The door opened and my eyes widened.

"Mom!?"I said without thinking.

"Hm?"mom said with a puzzled  expression.

Ops!

I covered my mouth with my hand and handed over the package to mom.

It is really mom....

Rose's parents really became so important to me.

I feel like I want to cry.

Mom smiled awkwardly at me and thanked me before going back inside.

As the door closes, tear start falling from my eyes.

I quickly realised and wiped them with my sleeve.

Mom...Dad...we have become strangers now.

They don't live in the house that we once lived in.

Rose or maybe Elena is no longer your child...

I slapped my cheeks with both my hands.

"It is the price you have to pay for everyone's safety-"

I stayed there, outside that door and kept visualizing mom and dad welcoming me.

Some minutes passed and I finally decided to take my leave.

I will tell Alex to let me do this job from now on.

Maybe she works as part time job for my family and delivers packages?

Maybe!

Maybe I will be able to see them more often this way!

I ran back to the house as fast as I could.

I found Alex in the kitchen.

"Alex! Stop cleaning! I have to ask for a payback?"

She smiled.

"What do you want Rose?"

"Are you working part time for that family and deliver packages?"I said with hope in my heart.

She nodded.

"Yeah.Have I not told you yet? Ops my bad! I got the job yesterday actually?"

"So can I please deliver them for you?"

She looked and me shocked.

"I will not get the money but I will give them to you.But please let me do the job!"I said and held her hands.

She nodded shocked.

"Since you really want to do that...I will let you.I deliver the packages once a month.I will call you when it is the next time."

And so I have yet another job.

It is only once a month so things are completely fine.

I am so glad I can see my family's faces even from afar once a month.

It doesn't matter that they don't remember me.

I will try my best to make new memories with them.

I will make sure to talk to them more next time and introduce myself properly.

I am going to Endymion's room right now.

As a maid, I will help him with some papers today.

He has a lot of work these days.

I hope that he doesn't feel as sleepy and tired as I was when I woke up.

I really enjoyed last night though.

I Knocked and opened the door to his room.

"Young master I am here.Do you need help with anything?"

He is sitting on his desk.

His one hand is holding a paper and the other is placed on his cheek to support his head.

"Oh you are here.Come here and help me organise these ones and put them in that desk."he said and continued reading the paper that he was holding.

I did what he ordered me to do.

"Anything else young master?"

*Ring* *ring*

Before he could answer me the phone rang.

I rushed and brought it to him.

He picked up.

"Hello? Oh Lisa? How are you doing-?"

He gone silent after that.

*Bang*

He got up and slammed his hand on the table loudly.

I gasped.

"Did something happen to Lisa?"I asked but he ignored me.

Ah...

"What? What do you mean you are crying? Cain! This bastard! I can't forgive him!"

He pressed his hand against the area between his eyebrows and signed.

Did Lisa get rejected by Cain?

She really asked him out , didn't she?

Endymion hang up and ordered me to help him get ready immediately.

He is going to Lisa-

I did everything as fast as I could.

Along the way he didn't say anything nor made an expression.

He must be thinking of harming Cain.

"Young master you are ready."I said while I was buttoning his shirt.

He left the room without looking at me.
