Chapter 83- I will never forgive or forget

"It is about him, isn't it?" I said and grabbed her hand.

Karen simply nodded.

I sighed and guided her outside.

"Should I wake up Endy?" I asked when Karen closed the door.

Her eyes widened and panick took over her.

"No, we shouldn't. I wish for him to take some rest-"

Then the door opened and we made eye contact with a fully dressed Endymion.

"So you were awake" I said and chuckled softly.

"Can you hold my hand for a moment?" he asked and brushed his fingers on my hand.

Does he want my support? How cute.

I clasped his hand in mine tightly and stood closer to him.

I reached to rub his chest for a second.

"I am by your side " I said with a proud smile.

Endymion's gaze softened and took a deep breath as he turned to face his mother.

"Mother I wish to know everything too. Tell me what happened."

Karen stared at our connected hands and seemed to relax too.

"I um... When you left, George told me everything and I remembered my past life too. He ordered to kill me back then so I didn't know what to do. I don't know how to accept this. B-Because in this life George is such a kind and fair man and I love him. I am really sorry that I am asking help of my own child but I really have nowhere else to turn to."

She sounds so desperate...

Before I could say anything, Endymion placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"I understand you mother. I was also killed by this man. I didn't forgive him and I will never do. You don't have to be sorry for asking my help, I am also an adult now. However I can't give you advice without seeing things from my perceptive" he said and glanced at me.

Is he asking for my opinion?

"I believe that you should take things very seriously. Don't pretend like nothing happened but also don't ignore the man he is now. I also can't give you the best advice because of my hatred for that man but you seemed happy with him when I firstly saw you. Remember back then? I have also helped in a way, he must have told you."

Karen smiled.

"Thank you and I am sorry for coming this late just for that. I have changed over the years and I am not as brave as I was. I am more of a peaceful old lady" she said and let out a soft giggle.

She patted our heads affectionately.

"Elena you are the best thing that has happened to my son. I can see it very clear. I am glad you are by his side when I couldn't" she added and fixed our bed hair.

"Of course mother" he responded with a warm smile.

"I just wish you to be happy. You can find meaning with or without him and I say that from the bottom of my heart. The choice is yours" he mumbled.

Karen pinched our cheeks and withdrew.

"This has settled the tension between me and you kids. I am glad I came tonight. I will go now."

"Do you have somewhere to stay?"I asked worried.

She chuckled at my concern.

"I will do like old times. Drink and watch the night sky until dawn. Good night now children. Don't worry about me I just wanted to pour out my heart nothing more. Don't feel responsible for me it should be the other way around" she said and disappeared into the shadows of the city.

Endymion let go of my hand and placed his head on my shoulder.

"Elena I feel so relieved right now. I feel like some of the burden and twisted feelings have finally vanished. I am grateful " he whispered and pulled me close.

Feeling the same I hugged him back with a huge grin.

"Shall we party ?"I asked.

Suprised he let go of me slightly to look at my face.

"Party?"

Then a smirk danced across his lips.

"Shall we go to my favorite restaurant? It is open twenty four hours a day."

His favorite restaurant? Oh don't tell me!

Will I really have the same scene like when I spied on his "date" with Lisa?

That somehow feeds my possessiveness heheh.

"Are any stores open? We can't go out with pajamas" I wondered.

Endymion laughed out loud and let go of me.

"Who wouldn't give such a pretty lady a dress? Just tell me what kind of dress you like. I will bring it you in no time" he said with a wink.

I squealed.

I must wife this one up.

"I want a very puffy dress with golden type of yellow color. You see where I am going? Ah! And pick something similar so we match! Please!" I said and jumped from excitement.

Endy paused and stared at me for a moment as if he was imagining it.

He nodded and stroked his chin with his hand, a smile on his face.

"Like a princess then? Okay then. You will become royalty tonight. Just wait here" he said and rushed out.
