Chapter 20- We meet again

Wait what?!

She is talking about the mafia family! Endymion's father!

Don't tell me it is time for that incident...

It isn't still known that this family is dangerous.

"Yes mom I look forward to it"

We got there and went out of the car.

A young butler came to greet us.

"Excuse me beautiful ladies can I have your invitation?"he said with a polite smile.

Mom smiled back and gave the invitation.

We get inside the huge castle.

I can't even see with this much people.

"Hold my hand honey so you will not get lost"mom said and took my hand in hers.

We walk through a huge crowd and after some minutes that felt like decades we arrived at the main hall.

There is a huge table in the middle of the large room.

I see Endymion there and his dad  sitting next to him.They have seats made of gold with silver touches.

It is clearly shown that they hold a very important position.

Endymion is so cute in a suit ehehe.

But he is making an uncomfortable expression.

Obvious he wouldn't like to sit next to a trashbag , his "father".

Poor him...I wish I could help him.

Mom and I went to greet some other guests that she knew.

"-se? Rose?"

I turn my head to face mom quickly.

"What is wrong? You keep staring at that little boy?"

I blinked in suprise.

"Oh sorry.I just got curious since he is the only child besides me in this room.Where are the other kids?"

She looked at me with a smile.

"Aww my daughter is so cute and adorable.Did you get lonely because we are all adults? It is alright! We would go greet the host of the party as well! Let's go now!"

She went there and I followed quickly while my head was  a mess.

Mom went to Endymion's father.

"I am sorry to interrupt mister George.I would like to thank you personally for invitating us in such an important ball.It has been a while since we lastly talked.Shall we go and get a drink?"

Will mom be safe?

I looked at his face with fear.

He smirked and raised his eyebrow.

"I can't refuse a beautiful lady like you.We should go and have a talk."

They left...

Mom please be safe!

I am sure she will handle the situation well!

"Excuse me? Do I know you from somewhere?"

Huh?

I turned and caught Endymion's eyes on me.

"Ah...We have met before.You don't remember me?"I said and pointed at my face.

His eyes widen.

" I didn't recognize you miss! I thought you weren't from such an important family.I...I am sorry for the trouble that I caused you and thank you again..."
