Trying To Hate Him

"Mommy, mommy!" young lillith yelled as she ran into the kitchen.

"Look! Look!" she jumped up and down. Her mother wasn't giving her any attention. As her head was tucked away into her hands.

Lillith listened for her mother's response. Instead all she heard was the fire crackling.

"Mommy, look-"

"Lillith. I have much more important things. Please leave me alone. Stop being a selfish bitch." her mother yelled.

Lillith being only five at the time. Was used to such actions. She frowned upon her mother and walked to her room.

This time was different. Little Lillith felt tears prick in her eyes as she dragged her feet across the wooden flooring. She opened her door. And closed it behind her.

Lee her twin brother was sitting on his bed. Playing with his toy airplanes which he had made from sticks and cloth.

He looked up from his toys and frowned at his twin. "I told you she wasn't going to bother." he said a bit more harshly then intended.

"She wouldn't even look at it. This took me forever to draw" Lillith said with a silent sob as her glasses started to slip from her nose.

The sad little girl looked in her hands and let her tears fall on her drawing.

It was a family photo. The house in the back. A sunny day. But there was one thing wrong about the photo.

Everyone was happy.

Lillith

I jumped up in a cold sweat. Breathing heavy as my chest was moving at an unhealthy rate. I looked around seeing everything was a dim light.

I was in the hospital wing. I calmed my breath as I searched for my glasses.

Once I found them I quickly picked them up placing the cold medal on my nose. The medal skimming the lightest of skin on my cheeks.

I look around the room once more seeing Lee on an empty bed next to me. I turned to my side table seeing a glass of water.

I picked it up taking a big gulp. I the pull the covers from my legs as I place my feet on the cold stone floor.

I stand on my feet slowly walking over to Lee. I shake him a bit. His eye's slowly open but once his vision became clear he quickly sat up looking at me.

He smiled weakly at me. "Can we go to my dorm now?" I asked in a soft raspy voice.

He nodded.

He stood up grabbing a bag. We started walking. We made it past the doors walking through the corridors.

"What happened after I fainted?" I asked holding my arms. "Harry caught you and we took you to Madam Pomfry. You were only out a couple hours." he said with a light smile.

I nodded as we walked into the Gryffindor common room. I walked in and saw everyone excluding Fred and George sitting in a circle.

Even Hermione was there. Everyone turned to me. Ron quickly got up running up to me. He picked me up in his arms swinging us a bit. I giggled lightly as I hugged him back.

Everyone else came over giving me hugs. I turned to Harry hugging him tightly. He hugged me back as he rubbed my back.

"Thank you, for catching me." I said pulling away. "Well somone had to do it" he said letting out a dramatic sigh. Everyone laugh as I lightly did.

"I'm going to head to bed" I said softly looking between everyone. "You've slept for bloody 8 hours already" Hermione laughed.

I smiled lightly at her joke. I swallowed a lump in my throat. "I-is Fred okay?" I asked. Everyone gave me an odd look.

A look of confusion, pity, and anger. "He's okay... Madam Pomfry fixed his nose but he's stuck with a black eye." Ginny said lowly. I bit my lip trying to hold back tears.

I'm happy he's okay. But he broke his nose and has a back eye.

Lillith what's wrong with you. He screwed you over.

I quickly blinked the tears away.

" I'll never understand you Lillith." Harry said from next to me. I furrowed my brows turning to him. "What do you mean?" I asked turning my body twords him.

"He completely fucked you over. Infront of the entire school. Messed with your feelings. And your still worried about him." he clenched his jaw. He looked a bit angry.

I looked at my feet. I felt tears pricking once more. I moved past everyone walking up the stairs.

" Lillith come back. " I heard Harry call out. I kept walking. I finally made it to my dorm closing the door. I let some of my tears fall but quickly wipe them away.

I walked to my bed laying down. Cha Cha came and layed next to me. "I hate that I don't hate him Cha Cha. I'm so in love with him." I finally admit as my tears flow.

"And I hate it. I want to hate him. I need to hate him. I do." I said letting out a sob. She placed a paw on my face. I pulled her in closer to me.

I close my eyes letting a shakey breath out. "You know what. I'm a bad bitch. And I'm going to make him relize that. Fuck him." I said smirking a bit.

I then felt the smirk fall. And a frown take it's place.

"Your weak. Can't ever do anything right. So you need Lee to protect your pathetic ass."

Fred's words rang through my head. I sat up quickly. I'm not any of that. He's a liar. I'm not going to sit here and sob.

I quickly jumped out of bed. I grabbed a box and walked to my closet. I pulled out the hoodie Fred gave me.

I threw it into the box as I walked over to my night stand. I grabbed  all the photos of us. I placed them in the box.

I grabbed the books he had given me also putting them in the box. Our favorite movies also went into the box.

Even the songs we used to sing along to I put in the box. I shut the box. Letting tears fall onto it.

I picked it up placing it by my door. I turned and looked at myself in the mirror. I fell slowly to the ground letting all my tears out.

I stayed there for a minute. Thinking about what happened today. Letting everything out.

I looked at myself taking shakey breaths before standing slowly again.

I rubbed my eyes. I walked to my closet grabbing a over sized t-shirt. I took my clothes off before pulling it on.

I tied my hair back as I walked back to my bed. I climb in pulling th covers over me. Cha Cha layed once more next to me. I gave her a few rubs as tears slipped unwillingly.

I slowly close my eyes letting sleep take me.
