Sleepwalking - Personal drabble/oneshot

Testing the waters since it's been forever since I last wrote anything.

So, I sleep walk...and sleep talk. I've been sleep walking since I was a kid. Don't know when it started and it happens occasionally. My mom says I'll just stand somewhere or stand over someone while their sleeping....like a serial killer.

There are times where I will wake up just standing like in the kitchen or something and don't know why. And I also do random stuff, like searching for things that aren't there. 

Now that I'm back working, my sleep walking and talking has become more recent. I honestly think it's because my work bully has me mentally burnt out and borderline paranoid about my work performance. That's just my theory.

My mom says I'm always going to wake her up and just ramble a bunch of stuff to her, and when she says she doesn't understand what I'm talking about, I'll get mad and go back to sleep.

And also, I blame stuff on the cat. I don't know why, I'm just as confused.

So, in this drabble one shot, what you're about to read is actually things I've been told I said and done.

It was 3am when Shoto woke up to someone rapidly tapping him awake. Shoto sat up in the bed and saw you staring dead at him. 

Your eyes were open, but you weren't awake.

"I figured it out." You said.

"Figured what out?" Shoto asked confused.

"I figured out, about....the thing with the silverware."

"What silverware?"

"You know, how like....the thing. You know, how like the silverware." 

Shoto didn't have a clue of what you were talking about, but then he realized what was going on.

"Oh no..." He mentally sighed.

"(Y/n), you're dreaming."

You groaned out of irritation and held out your fist like you were holding something. "I'm trying to tell you! Oh my God, it's right there. It's under the cat!"

"(y/n), go back to sleep." Shoto tells you.

You groan again. "I don't see why you're getting mad. It's the cat's fault."

The minute your head it the pillow, you were out cold.

Shoto just sat there, so confused.

A few nights later  

"Shoto! Shoto wake up!" You say while shaking him.

"What's wrong?" He asked while sitting up.

"I saw a spider! Big black spider!" You say while breathing hard and looking around.

"Where is it?" Shoto asked.

"It went under the cat's bed!" You say while getting up and going over towards the cat's bed.

You crouched down and shoved your hand under the cat's bed, waking him up in the process.

"Are you sure there's a spider?" Shoto asked tiredly, having a feeling this was you just sleepwalking.  

"I saw it! I saw a spider." You protested. 

"(y/n)..."

"It probably went into his fur."

"(y/n), there is no spider."

"Are you sure?" You asked.

"Yes."

"Alright then, don't believe me." You made your way back to bed, while Shoto was questioning his life choices.

A week later 

"Shoto, did you see that?" You asked.

"Don't worry about it (y/n), just go back to sleep." Shoto instantly says without even sitting up.

"Alright." You go back to sleep instantly.

So, that's all the story I'm gonna share for today.

Anyways, I'm sorry Mom and I'm sorry Coco.

Coco is my cat's name. He was a stray, and we thought he was a girl at first. So I named him after my favorite perfume that I can't afford, Coco Chanel 

But then we found out he was a boy after a trip to the vet. See, he's a black long hair, so we couldn't really see his...parts. And also he has an attitude so he wouldn't even let you.

So we shorted the name to Coco. We usually spell it Cocoa, but I spell it either way.
