One week before present.

"She said yes to him!" Lucifer exclaimed angrily while running his hands through his hair.

"Calm down son, you will find someone else, don't worry." Dad said.

We were having lunch when Lucifer's tantrum started. Honestly, I don't like Maria and him together. Cause knowing Lucifer, I know he is a possessive asshole who won't let her have her freedom.

"Your father is right, maybe there is someone else for you in this life." Mom said.

I was ignoring this shit and stuffing my mouth with food.

"No, I want her! I won't let anyone rest until I have her as mine!" He said while he banged his fork against the table.

Now he is just acting like a five-year-old. Pathetic piece of shit.

"You can't get whatever you want the way you want in this world Lucifer. You have to learn and move on." Mom said frustratingly.

"Why the fuck will I listen to you! I am the boss, I will decide how things will go!"

We all looked at him in shock. He never talked like that with mom. With dad it was fine, but not with mom.

She had tears in her eyes.

"Mind your language and know your place son, you will not speak like that with her. Apologise." Dad looked livid. He loves mom dearly, he will not accept disrespect from anyone towards her, not even his own son.

"No! I want Maria by my side and then I will think of apologising. And it's just a word mom, you can deal with it."

"Lucifer!" Dad raised his voice.

"Why are you talking like this?" I asked. What has gotten into him?

"I will talk the way I want to, I don't even know why I told you about this, I should have just went to Italy and bring her back here." He gets up from the table and starts walking towards the door.

Is he that stupid to just walk like that into our enemy's territory?

"You will do no such thing. Get back here. She belongs there, and you will not cause any problems in her life anymore." Dad got up and started walking towards him.

I followed him with mom. Maria is my friend, I won't let him do that to her. She sounded happy on the phone earlier when she called.

"What the fuck is your problem? You and mom, both were fine with her as your daughter in law. What happened now?" He Claire's angrily at dad.

"What happened is she is to be married to someone else. You can't bring her here just like that." He reasoned with him.

"Why do you think she won't willingly accept it? She loves me back." Now why will Maria do that?

"She doesn't love you! It was a simple crush. If it was love, she would have never accepted the proposal!" I say to him making him snap his head in my direction.

"She will. I will bring her here whether she likes it or not. She will be mine."

"She is not an object Lucifer! You cannot just kidnap someone and marry them. I won't allow it!" Mom said.

"Well, watch me."
