"Shh...now, where is the contract."

I was surprised when I heard the female voice but I swear the muscles I felt and saw in the bare minimum light, was of a body of a man.

My heart dropped to my feet and panic took over every nerve of my body. All I wanted to do was fight her or him but all my body could do was scream. With the large kitchen knife pressed against my throat, any movement and can easily slit my throat.

"Things will go easy if you just tell where is the contract?" She said making my breath hitch. Does Alesso know about me taking the contract and that's why he sent someone to pry out information from me?

"Please, I-I don't know what-" Replacing the knife with her harsh hand which I swear is very large to be a woman's, was replaced with a tight grasp cutting my air supply. My cuffed hands immediately shoot up to my throat to release the grip but it didn't help. Instead, she dragged the knife harshly along my arm making it bleed as I let out a shrilling scream.

"Let's cut the crap, shall we? Where is the contract? I already searched the office, so tell me before your husband comes home. Where is it?" She had a strong accent, I couldn't point which though.

I knew for the fact now that she was not working for Alesso by what she said making me consider her as the enemy.

"I don't kno-" I was cut off when she pushed me ahead as I stumbled on my feet and I instantly took hold of the counter. She harshly stabbed the knife in my back shoulder making me let out another scream with my back pressed against her body.

Pulling the knife out I could feel the wetness of blood through my clothes. I pinch my eyes shut in terror and cried out when she grabbed my hair and slammed my head against the counter, bending me making my nose break and bleed.

Trying to get up, the pain in my back shoulder only increased making me let out a cry in pain. Gathering all the strength I have and pushing back my pain, I spin over and kick her in the stomach making her stumble a bit but not much as I had expected. I noticed her face was covered with a mask, only able to see her eyes.

Taking that small time I had, I sprinted to the main door but before I knew I was pinned against a wall. I felt a sharp pull in the roots of my hair, a painful yank and then my head slammed on the wall.

I let out a shout due to the painful pounding skull, she yanked my hair, to be slammed to the wall again. My back shoulder started to hurt more than the arm injury. I kicked her in the knee but due to the darkness I accidentally kicked her in between her legs. Surprisingly, she groaned in pain as if she was just kneed in the balls.

Pushing my confusion behind, I hit her head with my cuffed fists and pushed her away from me. I made the run to the door to find it locked. I let out a hopeless breath when she pushed me onto the door making my forehead bang against the hardwood, I felt a painful pressure on the forehead. Turning me around, I was slammed hard against the door again as I let out a loud cry.

I snapped my eyes open when I felt the cold metal running down by the side of my neck and down my throat, gently running down my skin. Gliding the knife down my body, down the centre of my chest my breathing picked up when it reached the neckline of the sweater. I snapped my eyes to hers to only see her looking right back at me as if looking for my soul. A shiver went down my spine when I saw metallic cold eyes glaring at me with amusement and hatred.

"Tell me where is the contract and I will spare your life." She leaned closer to my ear making me struggle against her hold but she aggressively kept me in place. I didn't buy her words. I knew I would be just a bag of bones if I told her about the contract.
