When Angelo called me saying he saw Lucifer and his men near the store, I knew things will be rough.

In the mafia, you can't enter each other's territory without taking clearance from the other, which was definitely not given by me.

I don't know why Lucifer is behind Maria when he knows she is to be mine. I had told all in the mafia not to even look at her in the wrong way. Clearly, he didn't get the memo.

When I arrived at the restaurant I was livid. Maria was in his hold with her hands cuffed. How the fuck he laid a hand on my amore. This fucker just signed his death sentence.

"Well that not a way to treat a lady is it, old friend." I say.

Maria had teary eyes and a red mark on her cheek but she tried to stay strong. I just wanted to put a bullet in this bastard's head but I can't do that when she is still there.

"Finally showed up Alesso? Well, I can't chat because I have to plan a wedding." Said while looking at Maria and holding his hands against her throat.

I clench my fists, trying to control my anger.

"Yea, you should be our wedding planner, that spot is still available. Now let go of Maria and we can do this peacefully." I say calmly.

"Well there is no fun in that, is there?" He smirks.

I smirk back.

"If you haven't noticed your men are already down so might as well surrender."

Down as in dead. They are so stupid, they can even fight properly. Useless piece of shit. Lucifer looks at his surroundings from the corner of his eyes and becomes rigid.

Then I just clasp my fingers together and hell is broken loose. I pull my gun and shoot Lucifer's leg, making sure Maria is out of harm.

She screams at the noise and Lucifer's hold loosens and wastes no time in running towards me.

"Are you ok? Are you hurt? Did he touch you? I am going to kill that motherfucker." I pull her into a hug.

"I'm fine." She takes a deep breath to calm herself down.

"Ok, Taylor is there behind the van, he will take care of the cuffs, check if you have any injury and take you home." I say hurriedly and looked at Lucifer who is trying to get up.

"What about you?" I smirk at her words. She does care about me.

"I will be fine, and home after this is over." She was about to protest but I continued, "don't question amore, I will be fine and your family as well."

"Ok, be safe." She kissed me on the cheek and turned to leave.

I liked that. A lot.

Then I heard a grunt from behind me. I turned to see Lucifer struggling to stand. From a distance, I could see my men and his fighting. I walked and punched him right in the nose. Ooo that must have hurt cause now it is bleeding. Lucifer held his nose and screamed in pain.

"Scream bitch that's what you deserve."

I punched him a few more times until my hands started to bleed.

"This is what you get when you mess with me. You have broken two rules here."

PUNCH

"You came into our territory without prior notice."

PUNCH

"Then you stupidly decided to steal the mafia's fiance."

PUNCH

"I mean how stupid can a person be?"

PUNCH

He was on the ground by now barely able to move. He muttered something under his breath.

"I wasn't able to hear. Speak loudly bitch!" I kicked him in the stomach.

I don't know what he had done to Maria when I was not here. She must have been scared. I should have joined them but they were shopping for a wedding dress. So I couldn't join that.

"I said you have no idea what I and Maria have." He says.

I should just shoot him right in the head, save all of us the trouble.

"And what is that?" I say while holding a gun to his head and pulling him up by his collar.

"We both love each other." He says with a smirk.

Is he crazy or that oblivious.

"She was crying to get away from you. From what part do you think that was affection?" I gritted my teeth at the thought of him hurting her.

"The part where we kissed."

That's it.

I backhanded him with my gun and he fell in his injured leg and screamed in agony.

Good.

I pointed a gun at him, ready to pull the trigger.

BAAM!

He was dead on the floor. But the question was how?

The bullet was not mine.
