Maria

I gaped at the figure standing in front of me. Blinked once and then again. My brain was not able to comprehend what was going on. She looked so different.

Or should I say he?

Her toned body was replaced by a more muscled one. The brunette hair was of a much darker shade. She stood there in the room, a few inches bigger than me. Her slutty clothes were now replaced with a proper suit, pants and boots. Her short hair was properly combed reaching her ears.

"I see you are shocked." She walked towards me making me go rigid.

This is real? Did Ivan bash my head on the wall while leaving?

"H-how?" That was all my pathetic mouth could say.

"How am I alive?" She asked making me nod. My head was hurting by the number of surprises I am getting today. "Well, I never died in the first place." She shrugged and sat on the far corner of the bed.

Who the fuck did we bury!?

"But you did- we buried you- mourned for" My eyes tear up.

"Mourn for me?" She scoffed. "You people were throwing parties-"

"No-"

"Didn't even think twice about me." She spoke ignoring my objection.

"That's not true. I cried for you every night." I took one reluctant step forward.

"Yeah, whatever." She spat. I could still see the same Nora in her eyes that was with me before she died.

I pressed my bruised lips in a thin line. Hesitant to ask her. She narrowed her eyes at me seeing my hesitation.

"Spit it out bitch!" I tried to hold my laugh at it. Call me crazy but I don't feel scared or threatened by her. That's the way she always spoke with me. I don't know any other way siblings talk with each other.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I swallowed harshly. She raised her eyebrow at me. "About you being transgender." I could see her muscled body stiffen.

"Why should have I told you." She scoffed and looked back at the door. "You didn't even know these things," Nora explained but I could sense she was not comfortable with this topic.

"Why didn't you come home then." I furrowed my brows.

"Didn't want to." She shrugged it off making me look at her, not buying her lies.

"I don't believe you."

"I don't care." She said and stood up walking in my direction making me freeze. She stood inches in front of me.

Looking at her, she still has the same features she used to have. Same silver eyes, brown hair and that bitchy attitude.

"You still look the same." She said with a smirk making me smile helplessly. I am still not over the fact that she is alive. Mum will be so happy.

"Thank-"

"Same dumb Maria." She chucked making me press my lips line feeling that pang in my chest. I hugged my body and looked away from her.

Her eyes trailed down my bloodied face to my hand making her smirk turn into a frown. I followed her gaze seeing that she was staring at my wedding ring making my eyes water.

When will Alesso come? I miss him. I hope this ends soon. Is he looking for me? Does he know that Angelo is dead? Probably yeah.

I looked back at her. She had an unreadable expression on her face, almost soft as if she was happy. She saw me looking at her making her turn back cold.
