Trigger warning: violence.
**************************

Maria.

My heart rate picked up. Eyes went wide looking at the two figures in front of me who were smirking down at me, pleased with my reaction when I heard his voice.

Zamar.

His grip on my shoulders tightens making me let out a whimper. I tried to wiggle out of his head but he didn't bulge.

Letting go of my shoulders my body relaxed a bit. The clicking of shoes was heard as he came in front of me. My eyes went down to the floor not having the courage to look into his eyes. I could practically feel his eyes boring into me but I didn't look up, terrified of him after what I have heard from what Alesso went through.

The room was filled with silence. Nothing, except my deep breaths were heard. I flinched back as his silhouette moved and his hands rested on both sides of the armchair, caging me. I pushed my body as back as I could, not wanting his touch on me.

I tilted my head to the side when his face inched further to my face. Tears fell from my eyes not knowing what to do now.

"Fucking hell," He chuckled near my ear making shivers run down my spine. "You look just the same."

I flinched when he held my chin and tilted my head to meet his gaze.  I tried to get out of his grasp but it only tightened making me let out a whimper.

"How are you feeling?" He tilted his head asking me with fake sympathy. "Comfortable enough?"

He was of the same height as he was before. His black hair reached his ears and a part of tattoos was visible near his neck. The rest is probably hidden by his coat. He had crinkles by his eyes, looking like he was in his thirties.

I could see he was trying hard as he could to hold his laugh. I know it wouldn't help if I cried here like a helpless kid. I needed to show them they can't break me. To keep hope that Alesso will come soon. I just have to distract them till that time. But how much longer?

"I could be better," I spoke making his gaze dance with amusement. I gulped down when he chuckled at my response.

"Still festy I see." He shakes his head. I press my lips together. "I can see you still remember me. Did you miss me?" He gave me a fake pout making me cringe in disgust.

"Alesso told me," I said deadpan.

"Ahh." He let out a sigh. "Your bastard of a husband." He chuckles and shakes his head.

"His parents are still together happily for your information." I narrowed my eyes at him making him clench his jaw with anger.

"What do you want Zamar?" I tried to hide my nervousness.

His expression changed to a devious one. I felt disgusted with the look he is giving me making my legs go tense.

"Have I not made my intentions clear?" He spoke with a harsh tone. "Do I need to show you, Maria?" I could see he was mad making my heart thump loudly.

"N-no." I shook my head frantically but I could see it was of no use.

Zamar leaned back and walked away from me, anger radiating through him. I couldn't see him anymore as he went out of my sight in the dark.

I kept pleading to let me go, sensing something bad is going to happen. But both, Aron and Ivan did nothing. Just stood there. It was as if Zamar was the big deal. They work for him.

The room was met with silence. The sound of the dripping didn't reach my ears. The dripping of water had stopped.

It felt as if someone had just stabbed my gut a thousand times. My lips parted in shock and my body froze at what I saw coming into the light.
