Maria.

We all settled at the dinner table. Vincent sitting at the head, on the right was Georgia, mum and Theo. And on the left were Angelo, Alesso me and then Matteo.

This felt so much like the day we came here to Italy to meet the Romano family. The memory brought a spontaneous smile to my lips, remembering how far we have come now even though it's just six months.

"So, when did you guys arrive?" I broke the silence.

"Two days ago, but you guys were not here that was a surprise to us." Georgia chuckled, asking for an explanation but that made me remember that we had a miscarriage.

Tears brimmed in my eyes before I could control them. I didn't want to cry in front of all of them.

"We were out for a few days, Maria wanted to go outside for a while." Alesso answer seeing that I was not able to. Matteo looked at me with furrowed brows but I gave him a small smile which he returned.

"But it is so cold out right now." Mum said making me give her a smug smile. I swear I heard Theo chuckling from the other side of the table.

"Mum you know I love this weather." I took a spoonful of warm soup to satisfy my hunger and almost let out a moan but stopped before embarrassing myself.

"You could get sick." Angelo nodded at what she said making me narrow my eyes at him. I specifically know he loves cold weather as well.

"Sure." I just ended the conversation and dived back in my food.

I don't like to talk about things that would lead me nowhere but a long lecture.

"Did you like the food?" Georgia asked obviously noticing I was fairly not able to stop eating making me brightly smile at her.

"Very much." I heard Matteo and Alesso snickering beside me making me eye them. Alesso gave his brother a warning look but he himself couldn't stop hiding his laugh.

"What's so funny?" Vincent asked them both who tried to stop from grinning like idiots.

"Nothing, it's just that for the last few days we were eating what Maria cooked and now this all tastes like heaven." Matteo said making Theo and the two brothers laugh out.

"Hey, I don't cook that bad." I defended myself. Alesso stopped laughing and gave me an apologetic smile.

I don't cook that bad. Right?

"Oh please sister, you once made a simple sandwich which got me food poisoning," Theo said in between his laughs. "I will have to take their side on this one."

I bite the inside of my cheek while looking at Matteo and Theo who were still chuckling while eating. I don't like when people humiliate me in public, especially my family. Deciding to ignore it I looked back at the rest of them who gave the two idiots disapproving looks.

"So how long are you guys staying?" I asked them happily ignoring the laughter club.

"Well we had come here only for three days and now only one day is remaining so..." Angelo said while looking at mum who pressed her lips in thin line while thinking.

"Oh please stay for a few more days." I pleaded while looking at the four of them. They exchange a few glances as if deciding together.

I felt Alesso's hand on my thigh, knowing he didn't like my idea making me wack it off without others noticing. I could feel his eyes on me but I just dismissed it.
