"Hey Stevie, those flowers for me," Olivia asked Steve as he paid for the flowers.
He chuckled "no, there for Nancy."
"Nancy, are we talking about the same Nancy that called you bullshit that Nancy."
"Y-yes, that Nancy." "Why I don't understand, shes somewhere with her new boyfriend, and you're going to give her flowers."
"New boyfriend?" "Yeah, Jonathan, Im not sure if theyre dating, but rumors are going around they weren't in school for like two full days."
He looked at the flowers. "So you don't think I should give her the flowers." She shook her head.
"Lady, stop talking I'm waiting in line," a customer behind her said. "Don't be rude, dont you see Im talking to my friend," she said, pointing at Steve with an axe.
"Woah, whats that for," Steve asked, raising his hands. "Safety precaution," she said, shrugging putting the axe and a bag of chips on the counter.
"Will that be all?" "Yes." "Did you find everything you were looking for?"
"You know what, I didn't; I was looking for a bigger axe."
"Sorry, ma'am, that's the biggest we have."
She shrugged, "I guess Ill make that work."
Steve and Olivia walked out of the store "safety precaution, what does that even mean," asked Steve.
"You wouldn't even believe me if I told you," she said, opening the front door of his car.
"I guess thats our thing now. I drive you around." Olivia smiled, "well, I thought thats what friends are for." Steve smiled at her.
"I still can't believe you're going to Nancys house," Olivia said.
He had decided that he still wanted to see Nancy. "Ollie, you dont understand; I'll talk to her, tell her I love her, and I will apologize."
"Wait, why are you apologizing? Shes the one that broke your heart and made you cry," Olivia said madly. "I-I didnt cry."
"Liar, and you know that." She pointed her index finger at him.
They arrived at Nancys house. "How about you give the flowers to me, and you go tell Nancy you want an apology," she said, getting the flowers from him and setting them on her lap.
Steve shook his head "no, I want to make things right." Olivia rolled her eyes; Steve got the flowers and got out of the car.
Olivia watched him as a little kid with curly hair approached him. The kid opened the door, surprised to see Olivia there.
"Hey," she greeted the young boy.
"Uhm, hi. Steve, who is this."
"Shes my friend Olivia. Olivia, this is Dustin." "Sorry, but you need to go," Dustin said.
"What," both Steve and Olivia said at the same time.
Dustin pulled Steve away from Olivia so she couldn't hear their conversation. Olivia rolled her eyes and waited for them to finish talking.
"This is classified information Harrington she cant know."
"I trust her; we can tell her on the way." Steve looked at Olivia. "Are you out of your mind?" "What"
"I dont agree with this at all," Dustin said, walking to the car.
"You boys ready."
"Olivia, theres something I want to tell you. Its serious information that you cant share with anyone." Olivia looked at Steve and nodded; she had never seen him look so serious.
"You remember how you asked me about the missing kid." She nodded again. "Well, he was taking somewhere else..."
"Holy shit," said Olivia after Steve was done telling her about everything that had happened.
"I-I think I saw one of those things. When you dropped me off. Thats why I got the axe."
"You saw a Demogorgon," asked Dustin. "Yeah, I think so, but smaller it looked similar to a dog maybe."
The more she learned about this small town.

It was darker, Steve was still driving, Olivia couldn't believe it the boring town of Hawkins didn't seem that boring anymore.
"Wait a sec, how big?" asked Steve. "First, it was like that," said Dustin showing a small space between his two index fingers. "Now hes like this," he said, now showing a bigger space between his two index fingers.
"Are you sure its not just a lizard," asked Steve. "Its not a lizard," Dustin said, raising his voice. "How do you know?"
"How do I know its not just a lizard, well, because his face opened up, and he ate my cat." "Yeah, its not a lizard," said Olivia.
The three of them got out of the car. Steve was holding a bat with nails while Olivia was holding her brand new axe. Dustin was walking behind the two teenagers.
"I dont hear shit," Steve said, getting closer to the orange door. "Hes in there." Steve banged the door; with his bat, they still didn't hear anything. He hit the door harder "all right, listen, kid. I swear if this is some sort of Halloween prank, your dead all right," Steve said, pointing the flashlight to Dustin's face.
"Its not," Dustin said, closing his eyes, still having the flashlight pointed at his face. "Wheres the key," asked Olivia looking at the orange door firmly holding her axe. She unlocked the lock, and Steve opened the door.
It was dark inside; there were a set of stairs. "He must be further down there. Ill stay up here in case he tries to escape," said Dustin. Both Steve and Olivia looked at him.
"Come on," said Olivia, hitting Steves shoulder. She started to walk down the steps; she turned around and looked at Steve. "Dont tell me that king Stevie is scared."
"Stevie," questioned Dustin. "Not a word Henderson."
Steve followed Olivia down the steps. "Shit," said Olivia. "Ollie, are you alright," asked Steve. "Yeah, I just tripped on the last step. I'm good."
Steve turned on the light; she looked around. Steve hit her shoulder with the back of his hand to get her attention. "What is it?" With his bat, Steve picked up what looked like skin. "Its shedding." "Henderson, get down here," Steve called Dustin.
There was a hole in the wall. "No way."
Olivia was wearing yellow long gloves, and she was helping Steve get the buckets of meat out of his car. They were at the old junkyard.
"Well, when you were having sister problems, Dart grew again, he escaped, and I'm pretty sure; he's a baby Demogorgon" Olivia heard Dustin say, "Wait what"
"I'll explain later. Meet me, Steve, and Olivia at the old junkyard"
"Steve Harrington? And Olivia? What Olivia I don't know an Olivia." "And bring your binoculars and wrist rocket."
"All right, let's go," Steve said, closing the trunk of his car. Olivia carried the bucket and followed Steve.
They were walking on an old railroads throwing meat. Olivia looked at it with disgust and threw it to the side. "All right, so let me get this straight. You kept something you knew it was probably dangerous to in order to impress a girl who you just met," Steve said, walking behind Dustin.
Olivia continued to throw the meat on the ground walking behind Steve. "That's grossly simplifying things," Dustin said defensively.
"I mean, why would a girl like a slimy slug anyways? Ollie, would you like a slug," Steve asked, looking at her over his shoulder.
"I would throw it at your face," she said, throwing another piece of meat.
"See, that's what I'm talking about," Steve said, looking at the back of Dustins head.
"But it's an international slug; it's awesome."
"Not really," Olivia mumbled.
