The guard left Robin and Olivia alone with Victor. Slowly Olivia took a step closer to the cell.

"Victor? My name is Olivia, and this is Robin." She pointed at Robin, who as well took a step forward.

"Um, we have some questions."

"I don't talk to reporters, Hatch, knows that," Victor said, not looking at them.

"We're not reporters." Olivia walked closer to the cell.

"We're here because we believe you. And because we need your help."

Robin took a step toward the cell and said, "Whatever killed your family, we think it's back."

"And it's after my little sister."

Victor's nail scratched the table, making an annoying sound.

He turned around slowly. Olivia was not ready for what she saw.

When Victor turned, the light hit his face. She had a better view of him.

He looked old with a white beard and large vertical scars on his eyes.

Robin started to explain what Eddie saw the day Chrissy died. When she was done, Olivia told him about what Max saw, and how Max described it as a walking nightmare.

Victor was quiet with the palm of his hands together. "Does any of this sound like what happened to your family," Olivia asked.

Victor exhaled shakingly, "I know this is hard-"

"You don't know anything!" He said loudly.

"You're right. We don't know. That's why we're here. To learn to understand."

"We need to know how you survived that night."

After that sentence, Victor laughed in disbelief. "Survived? Is that what you call this?"

He got up from his chair and walked toward them. "Did I survive?" He took a step closer after every word.

He groaned, "No, I assure you, I am still very much in hell."

Victor told the girls his story.

He told them how after he got back from the war, his family bought a house, where they could have a new life.

Shortly after they moved in, strange things started to occur. Near their home, dead animals started to appear; some were tortured, and others were mutilated. Small animals like squirrels and big ones like dogs.

The police believed it was a wildcat, but Victor knew that something evil caused the attacks.

He was sure that a spawn of Satan, a demon, was the one near their home, causing all bad things to happen to his family.

Victor mentioned how the demon had cursed their home and them.

He took a seat on his bed. "It took Virginia first," he said sadly.

"I tried to get the children out, to save them," he said, remembering that horrible night.

Olivia could hear the pain in his voice as he continued, "but I was back in France back in the war," he explained.

With his hand on the side of his head, he said, "it was a memory. I had thought German soldiers were inside."

He breathed heavily, "I ordered its shelling. I was wrong."

He covered his ears with his hands, rocking himself slowly "this demon it was taunting me, and I was sure it would take me just as he'd taken my Virginia, but then I heard another voice. At first, I believed it was an angel."
