Third person's Pov.

When Yibo woke up the next time he was lying inside his room, for a moment he didn't realize what was going on until he remembered what had happened.

He sat up straight and he heard the voice of his knight, "your highness!!"

His nanny also called out to him, " Your highness!! Are you okay?"

In the entire palace, only the two who were loyal to his mother remained beside him his most trusted person.

"I am fine, but how did I get here?"

"We found you outside the imperial palace, someone was there when I reached you but they were gone once I reached you."

Yibo nodded, but his mind was filled with questions, how come he is cured and Alive as far as he knows, black venom has no cure then how?

Did Zhan invent one no that's not possible even the greatest people in history couldn't invent one then how come fifteen year old child like Zhan make one.

Whatever the case is Zhan is in danger because as far as he remembers Zhan didn't kill those people except and those people were empress's people they will tell her that he saved him

She will go after him them no absolutely not, but it's already too late what can he do now?

Meanwhile, the empress was fuming in her room as she threw her things here and there.

"How is that mutt still alive just how!!! even black venom couldn't kill him?"

The saintess news there as well, " empress Diana please calm down"

"How can I calm down Katherine? Just now that bastard is still alive but how black venom. Should have no cure?"
She said and then asked the men who attacked Yibo, "what had happened there? Whom saved that prince?"

"Your majesty, we nearly succeeded in the mission but then the son of Duke Zhan, he was the one who saved him"

Saintess spoke next," Zhan the human blessed by the goddess, how come he...did you see him cure the third prince?"

The man shook his head.

"Isn't this Zhan the one who was spotted with him before as well?" The empress said, "Saintess isn't he the one you have a doubt on?"

"Yea your majesty we think that he is the one, even Silas knows this"

The empress suddenly smirked, "i see."

Meanwhile, Yibo who was sitting in his bed with deep thoughts, " Jack,"

"Yes my lord"

"Go and spread the rumor that the third prince was poisoned by the black venom and a mysterious woman cured him while the son of Duke, Zhan saved him"

"Yes your highness"

He wonder if this would be enough that divert the mind of the empress? He has to look for Zhan and find answers himself.

Meanwhile, Zhan who sitting in his room with a chaotic mind, he was sweating and shivering as he constantly apologized for Killing someone.

Goddess is his everything, he wouldn't survive if she abandoned him as well.

That day Zhan didn't eat or drink anything he stayed in his room and didn't even sleep and it wasn't like anyone cared to what happens to this neglected son of a duke.

The next morning Zhan left his him earlier than expected but to his surprise, there was a carriage outside his house.

He wanted to ignore it but how could he when the prince Himself got down from the carriage and offered his hand,"allow this prince to give a lift to his benefactor."

Zhan wanted to say no but unfortunately, he couldn't because of the guards and all so he got onto Prince Yibo's carriage.

"Good morning, your highness"

"You sound tired, young master perhaps you didn't get proper sleep last night."

Zhan chose not to reply to that, and Yibo continued,"so young mastermind telling how you cured me?"

"I have no idea what you are talking about your highness."

"Hmm...as expected you wouldn't answer when I ask nicely right?"

This made Zhan stare or more like glare at Yibo.

"Oh don't worry I won't torture you and not even think about it especially since we are on our way to a holy place. And I think that saving someone's life isn't a sin."

"But taking is."

"But not if you have no choice, your goddess is not that petty right?"

This made Zhan glare at him,"my apologies I had forgotten how much you love your non existent goddess"

Even after everything that Yibo said he still came with Zhan to the temple.

And as usual Silas knew about it," it seems that we have guests today right, Zhan"

"Yes, Silas"

Silas then turned to Yibo, "greetings your highness"

Yibo smirked, "I had heard that you were blind then how come you know about my presence is your blindness fake and only there to scam people?"

"Your highness!" Zhan spoke, Silas was not just an oracle he was a high priest someone above Saintess, his words are wise and are considered to be direct from God he is someone who has the highest respect in the empire even more Than the emperor.

His insult is like an insult to the empire and religion itself.

But Silas just smiled, "as expected you are just as cute as I had expected your highness and I am glad that you are in good health"

Yibo smiled as well even though he is not much of a believer in and goddess he still knows how to recognize good people, "I am not cute please refrain from calling me that"

"As you wish your highness bit can I ask what brings you here today?"

"I thought you knew everything"

Silas only smiled after this and handed a broom to Yibo,"this is the practice both Zhan had I do every day if you don't want to then you can leave"

"Aren't you a High priest? You can just order someone to do it"

"I wouldn't want anyone to anything in the goddess's temple with hate or force"

Yibo nodded and in the end helped in cleaning as well as offered his prayers to the goddess well he only stared at the goddess's statue the entire time.

After their prayers, both of them said their goodbye to Silas before sitting in Yibo's carriage well Zhan didn't want to but he couldn't say no to the prince.

"You are still not going to tell me how you cured me?

"I still don't understand what you mean your highness" Zhan replied.

"Alright then make sure to remain safe you are a good person I hope you love peacefully"

This made Zhan actually smile because he knew that Yibo said this to him genuinely, this prince is not as bad as he pretends to be.

"I know we have different thinking and paths but for now even if it's for a few days can we be friends?"

This was probably the first time in his life after a very long time someone has asked to be Zhan's friend, his heartfelt elated and his smile brighter, as he raised his hand forward and shook hands with Yibo.

"Sure your highness"

After ten years Zhan has finally made a friend. And he can't wait to tell the goddess about it.
