30. Drinking buddy.

"What the duke's household is in turmoil?" The empress spoke with delight once the first prince gave her this news, the first prince had planted his series in the duke's mansion these past few days to get as much information we could.

And to his surprise, the news was quite pleasant the Duke and Duchess don't get along and the eldest son yelled at his mom while the youngest son coughed blood and collapsed and so did the duke.

How good of an opportunity this is, "And mother I have heard that the duke loved his wife more than anything and she changed after her children's supposed death."

"Yes, yes you are right son, we should try that."

While the third prince quickly ran to the duke's mansion after he heard the news that Zhan had collapsed.

When he reached the duke's mansion he saw,  a grim atmosphere which made him scared he hoped that Zahn was okay, a servant took him to Zhans' room where he saw Simon sitting beside him, quietly watching over his brother while Zhan laid on the bed.

"Sir Simon, how is he?"

Simon sighed, "He is fine your highness he should wake up soon," 

"How did this happened?" 

Simon then told everything to Yibo since the start and now Yibo understood what Zhan meant when he said that Simon dies not harbor hate towards anyone, and might not fully support him.

Simon then suddenly stood up," You are the only one I trust your highness in this kingdom, I will go out for a while till then please be my brother's side."

Yibo nodded and Simon gave one last glance to Zhan before leaving, once Simon was gone Yibo started at Zhan and crossed his hand while Zhan opened his eyes.

"So now you are deceiving your own brother?"

"I have no choice to keep him by my side I have to lie to him"

Yibo then sat down on the seat in front of him and spoke, "Sean this is not right your brother clearly is innocent and he will only go corrupt in this environment why do you want to drag him into darkness."

"But I can't leave him alone your highness, the empress, the first prince, and now even the duke duchess and count Churchill's daughter Sapphire everyone will go after him, how can I leave him alone like htat.

My brother is strong smart and cunning he can't be filled easily and I know he can take care of himself but still, I can't truest anyone in this world.

My brother is not an ordinary human, he is a swordmaster and he is the eldest son of the duke he is bound to drag into this mess since birth"

Yibo sighed and leaned on his chair, whatever Zhan said was true anyway, and he can't argue with him anymore.

Meanwhile, Simon went out for a stroll didn't know where to go to calm his mind, "are you lost young master Simon?"

Simon looked at the owner of the house it was none other than Zhang Zhehan, "You look stressed."

Simon didn't want to say anything he just remained quiet, "If you want to go to a place to relax then I can take you there."

This made Simon looked at him, "So will you follow me, Sir Simon?"

Simon rubbed his temples and nodded, "Thank you, marquis."

Zhehan smiled and moved ahead while Simon followed him but soon Simon regretted following him because Simon bought him to a pub.

It was daytime so the pub was extremely silent with only two or three members.
