26. The first prince

Zhan felt nostalgic when he saw the duke's mansion after so many years, finally, he is back here.

Irene was standing in the middle of Simon and Zhan holding their hands, "Let's go in children."

After seeing the new guest all the servants and the butler were confused but the duke soon solved their confusion when he announced, "All of you welcome your two young masters, my two children Zhan and Simon."

Everyone was shocked out of their wits when they heard this, and Irene ordered them,"Dylan go and prepare my children's room and set up dinner for them also prepare a hot bath for them."

After seeing their reaction looks like the duchess has done a good job in these years, especially after seeing how the butler was limping Zhan felt extremely happy.

If he is right, then in a few days the duke will be going down as well.

Irene showed them their rooms and once Zhan was in his room he collapsed on his bed, today was very interesting.

Simon sighed, "I don't understand what you are doing but I will help you if I could."

And after that day rumors spread that the duke's two dead sons had returned and that created a ruckus in the empire many people had sent them their invitations and many people wanted to see them.

And as Zhan had expected the duke had announced a grand celebration for their return

Zhan was taking a stroll in the garden, this development is really great, he suddenly came across the butler Dylan.

Zhan almost laughed when he saw how thin and malnourished this guy looked, in his last life the butler was the reason Zhan's life was miserable he was neither given food and neither clothing and he even fed Zhan rotten food.

But he had treated Simon worse, he had restricted his movements and reported his every move to the duke thus taking the freedom from Simon and this bastard was even smiling when Simon was brutally killed.

For ten years he and his brother had suffered because of him.

"Mr. Roy, how are you?" Zhan said and smiled kindly at the butler, "It's been a long time right?"

The butler smiled he was glad that these two had come back now his days of abuse will end.

"I am fine, young master."
