5. Attack

The night of the party arrives soon and this time there was a carriage waiting for Zhan outside the door.

The head butler was standing beside the carriage with his head down as if hiding his face, Zhan's knight was there as well for a moment Zhan couldn't believe that this carriage was for him until his knight opened the door for him.

For once Zhan wondered if this was his brother's doing?

But soon he felt uncomfortable since these people were definitely forced to serve him.

Once he was inside the carriage the knight closed the door with a bang, which created a loud noise.

Normally it was considered rude but Zhan didn't want to create a rukus so he didn't say much.

The entire ride was quiet before he reached his destination, he got down from the carriage and took the gift he had prepared for the birthday girl.

Once he reached inside the building he suddenly felt out of place, because apparently Everyone either ignored him or pretended that he didn't exist.

He stood at his place awkwardly for a moment not knowing where to go or who to speak with.

He was even thinking weather it was a good idea coming here or not, while he was in the middle of regretting his decision he was approached by the birthday girl Sapphire Churchill herself she was a gorgeous lady and her red dress made her look even more radiant.

"Lord Zhan ,I am happy that you came here."

"It's my pleasure lady Sapphire, please accept my gift." Zhan said and handed over his gift of a beautiful diamond necklace to her.

Sapphire smirked and took the necklace, "it's so pretty, it would look good with my collection"

Zhan only smiled for some reason this woman was making him uncomfortable,"um...how is your elder brother lord Simon?"

"My elder brother is okay thanks for asking."

Sapphire nodded, "okay then enjoy the party."

After that Sapphire just walked away she didn't bother to talk with Zhan anymore and no one else bothered to talk to him.

Even when en tried they just straight up ignored him, even Sapphire also ignored him even the waiters didn't ask him for drinks.

So Zhan just sat quietly in the corner on a sofa waiting for sometime before deciding to just leave.

But before he could get to he suddenly felt a cold liquid being poured on to him.

This made him Stand suddenly and he saw Ruby standing behind him with a smile as she emptied her glass on Zhan ,"Lady Ruby what kind of joke is this?"

Ruby them made a sorry face,"I am sorry lord Zhan it was my mistake,"

She said and walked towards him but at the same time 'coincidentaly' a waiter carrying for came from behind and Ruby accidentally bumped into him and all the contents that the waiter carried fell onto Zhan.

Moreover it was hot food freshly prepared which even burned his skin.

"Oh I am so sorry" Ruby said and tried to touch Zhan but yanked his hand away while Ruby 'accidentally' fell on the ground.

"I said I am sorry lord Zhan can't you forgive me ?" Ruby fake cried while the crowd just watched.

"What kind of behaviour is this lord Zhan? Sapphire said angrily, "we Invited you to the party and this is how you treat my sister?

My little sister made a mistake can't you forgive her? How can you treat a lady like this just because goddess favours you doesn't mean that you can treat others like this."
