57. Childish

"I must say, your highness, the beauty of your kingdom amazes me," Zion spoke as Yibo gave him something to eat and When Zion ate what Yibo gave him he can only praise it., "It's amazing."

"Thank you, your majesty," Yibo said as he walked around with him.

Suddenly the two came across Simon and his group, "Crown prince, Good evening."

Simon greeted and smiled at Yibo and so did the two siblings who ran to him ,"Hello brother Yibo."

How have you been brother Yibo?" A-Yuan asked.

Yibo smiled at the kids and patted their heads,"I am fine how are you both by the way?"

"We are fine as well."

Zion smiled as well, "Who might these be Crown prince?"

Yibo smiled, "This is A-Yuan and this is his younger sister A-Xiang, while this gentleman is..." Yibo looked towards Simon but Zion spoke before he could say anything.

"Duke Simon wen Weixiao." Zion said as he looked at Simon with an unusual smile and extended his hand forward for a hnadshake, Simon also smiled and shook hands with Zion.

"Emperor Zion it's nice to meet you."

Zion also smiled, "Right, It's nice to meet you too duke Simon." Again Zion added in his mind and then looked at Zhan who only frowned at him, and Yibo also didn't know what to say his objective was not to let Zhan and Zion meet but it seemed to have failed.

Menawhile Simon also sensed the tension between the two and soke, "Emperor Zion, do you enjoy your stay in our empire?"

Zion gently smiled at Simon, "Indeed Duke I am loving everythig about your kingdom and I am also very happy to meet you, I have heard a lot about The Weixiao Duchy, today I fianlly have the honor to meet you."

Simon laughed, "It's nothing special would you like to continue the stroll?"

"Of course, I will be glad if we could join you."

"You are most welcome."

With Zion and Yibo joined Zhan and Simon, Simon became a tour guide for Zion he was suprsingly good at interacting with Zion and at the same time taking care of the kids.

While Zhan was annoyed and he sneakily grabbed Yibo's hand and ran in other direction.

Yibo didn't say anything and let Zhan drag him he also wabnted some alone time with Zhan.

After a few minutes of walking with hand in hand the two came in a quiet place which was beside the river, where people would mostly come to light the lanterns.

Zhan finally let go of Yibo's hand and looked at him, "Your highness what were you doing with him?"

Yibo sighed, "Would you like to tell me why you hate him?"

"Would you like to tell me why you like him."

"I don't like him it's just I am being nice to him because he is the emperor of our neighbouring nation, I have to be good to him."

Zhan rolled his eyes, "I also don't hate him I just don't like him. I am neutral to him."

"You sure about that, becuase your facial expression say something else."

"Oh fuck that." Zhan said and Yibo crossed his hand in front of his chest , "So maybe I should go and call him again."

Befre Yibo could move Zhan grabbed his hand and pulled him towards himself such that they were quiet close, the two looked at each other before Zhan spoke, "Crown Prince Yibo, if you miss him so much then why did you come here with me you should have just stayed there with him."

Yibo sighed and suddenly smiled, he then patted Zhan's head like that of a child, "It's amusing to see you behaving so irrationally, like a child."

Zhan let go of Yibo's and his face turned red, when he realized that he was behaving childishly. 

"I am...sorry for my insolent behaviour crown prince." he said  quietly and Yibo smiled.

"It's good to se you behave like a noraml human sometimes as well."

Zhan smiled, "But your highness please maintainyour distance from him."

"I will, and I wanted to talk to you about somethings, they are urgent"

Zhan nodded, "I am listening."

Yibo spoke, "I think the empress and the first prince Danielle are trying to convince Emperor Zion to help them with the rebellion."

Zhan nodded, "Emperor Zion seems to be a good choice, is there something else."

Yibo took a deep breahte, "I thought hard about this, what would they offer Zion in return? and my knight Jack saw the first prince carrying a book with him, when I saw that book it was about goddes Ankh and there was a chapter about her favoured one."

Zhan's blood ran cold but he let Yibo continue,  "It said that the one favoured by goddess possess so much power that, that person if converted in a holy object which wll be so powerful that it can help anyone rule the world."

Zhan felt a chill run down his spine but he clenched his fist and looked at Yibo while his mind was already playing the flashbacks of his previous life.

Yibo looked noticed how Zhan's expression changed and he continued, "These few days I have been thinking a lot about you, why you hate your family, your father, the empress, Adeena why? and then I saw a line in the book which said that the goddess can break or alter any cosmic law for you.

So Sean tell me honestly, did you come back him time? did the goddess broke the law of time for you?"

Zhan nearly stumbled backwards he felt nauseas, he remembered all the things from his past life everything just cam rushing back to him, and he suddenly turned around and quickly walked towards the bushes before sitting down and puking.

Yibo who didn't expect this reaction sat down beside him and, patted his back gently while looking at him worriedly.

Zhan wiped his mouth and sat n the ground quietly whie Yibo held his hand, "Sean are you okay? let me take you home, I am sorry I said all those things to you."

Zhan squeezed Yibo' hand and smiled bitterly, "You are right you highness you are always right," he then looked at Yibo and Yibo felt his heart break when he saw Zhan's red wet eyes full of pain, as he said,

"Every word you said back then was the truth the goddess did turned back time for me."
