I was exploring the biggest aquarium I've ever seen. The first thing I remember is walking into a large open hall that encircled an enormous tank. There were different sectioned rooms of the hall with big archways in between. The tank was so large that I couldn't see the other side through the thick glass. It was also so big that it housed 2 whale sharks along with other large sharks, fish, and jellyfish. There were a lot of people there gawking at the site as I wormed my way through the crowd and right up against the glass. I took out my phone to capture a couple videos of the whale sharks as they majestically swam by.
Then, a voice over the speaker system said to clear away from the tank as they conducted some sort of test by playing sounds of different octaves in the water. The sounds were so loud that it vibrated everything and I was afraid the glass would break. The whale sharks reacted strangely by arching their heads and tails upward and singing along with the noise. I wasn't sure what the purpose of the test was, but it didn't last very long. I continued to marvel at the piece of ocean before me.
