Jake was none stop celebrating and talking about his win, with a series of videos and messages all over the internet, when anyone wanted to say anything against it, he's shove his belt in their faces and challenge them as well, most went quiet afterwards. Besides the joy and excitment Jake had for the win, he was most elated for his vacation with his wife, he missed Erika for most of his training camp, and now it was time for them to just be together, of course he would be recording, but he wanted to focus on her more than work finally, and either question her about growing their family, or just let it happen while they were out together.
After saying goodbye to everyone, Jake and Erika were being driven to the airport where they'd soon be flown to their vacation area for the next few weeks,
Jake was dressed nicely, collard shirt with the first few buttons undone, cologne Erika had brought him, along with a pair of shades, Erika had on a nice dress along with some jewelry
they held hands in the back seat, close to one another, Jake had a glass of champagne in the other hand, Erika had her head rested on his shoulder, they were talking about how the place would be, while Erika giggled and they gave kisses to one another.
Erika smiled as Jake leaned over beginning to leave kisses and bites on her neck, "Everything's gonna be perfect," He promised, "It'll be perfect no matter what it looks like, cause we're together," Erika responded, "Yeah, but if anything it off, someone's getting fired," Jake muttered back, Erika let go of Jake's hand only to put her arms around him snuggling him again, he polished off his drink, putting the glass away before hugging her back kissing the top of her head.
Since they started packing for the trip, Jake hadn't gotten his hands off her, and Erika had been responding right back, Jake was so clingy and affectionate, it was like he never left, and while she enjoyed every second of being in his arms, she couldn't
stop thinking of what she'd done...The hugs, kisses all the love, it felt so artificial, so temporary, when would her time be up?
Although Jake didn't know a single thing she did while he was gone, or a single person she'd been kissing...The guilt made her think she would be discovered any second, any time Jake's phone would ring she would hold her breath, thinking somehow, someway, she would be found out.
Jake and Erika spent the evening when they got to their island looking at the sunset, they had a walk on the beach taking pictures and taking a few dips in the water, it was already late, but they wanted to do a little something before turning in, as the moon started to shine, they finally went inside, Jake just as hands on as before, the two even opted for a shower together before getting into bed.
"You like it so far?" Jake questioned, "Its beautiful," Erika whispered, she was laid close into Jake's warm arms, only moving back slightly when she wanted to look at his face.
Erika blushed feeling them rumble of Jake's chest every time he spoke, they were so close in each others embrace, they hardly noticed the room around them.
For points throughout the first day, Erika was on and off remembering what she had done before getting there, the sabotage she'd done to her own relationship,
when she was with Jake like that, despite his rude demeanor towards the workers there, he was very affectionate with her, and was sure to show her just how much he missed her.
"I love you," Erika muttered into Jake's chest, a wash guilt washed over her after she'd said it, however it felt like the right thing to say just moments before, the emotional intimacy she felt being hugger unto and tangled up with Jake right then, some things just came out of her mouth without her being able to stop them.
Jake brought her up a bit kissing her cheek than her neck, along with a nip, "I know," He responded hugging her close,
"Erika,' Jake spoke up again, as Erika had started to close her eyes,
"Mmm?" She responded, relaxing into him as Jake stroked her back,
"You could love me, and someone else couldn't you?" He questioned, he sounded curious, not exactly unsure of himself, but he was clearly in thought.
Erika's breath hitched a bit, she bit her lip, could he have known about Anthony... What did he mean by that?
"I don't think I could ever love someone the way I love you Jake," Erika responded, she felt Jake chuckle lightly, "Good, because you're mine," Jake replied squeezing her, making her really feel the gap in their sizes. "I meant...Don't you," Jake started and stopped again, Erika pulled back slightly to look at him, Jake was always bold, it was weird that he wasn't straightforward with whatever he was going on about.
Erika cupped his face kissing his nose, "What is it honey?" Erika asked gently, "I want to get you pregnant again," Jake came out with it, the tender moment just took a more vulgar turn, but it just reminded her Jake was still Jake, even if he did seem interested in becoming a father.
Erika felt her face and she's heat up, she gasped her eyes widening, having their first child had been a terrible ordeal for the both of them individually and for their marriage, but here Jake was wanting to expand the family? Erika wss shocked, she knew Jake took the loss of their first baby hard, but she didn't think he would even truly want kids.
"Say something," Jake told her frowning, "I'm shocked," Erika replied, "Why? You don't want a baby?" Jake asked letting go of her sitting up, "Its not that," Erika said sitting up beside him, "I just didn't expect this from you-" Erika barely got the words out before Jake responded, "Just because the first was a surprise doesn't mean I didn't want him!" Jake told her, it was difficult saying something that vulnerable to her, and for her to bring up the past with her answer got him irritated.
"You weren't exactly prepared for a baby either, so don't pin this on me!" Jake raised his voice again glaring at her, "No, that's not what I meant, I just thought with everything going on, it wouldn't be on your mind- I think you would be a wonderful father," Erika tried to diffuse, "So we're having one," Jake responded before knocking Erika flat on her back hugging unto her.
"I guess we are," Erika responded.
In this moment she did forget again, right than, the most important thing was them getting themselves prepared for a potential child and having a wonderful vacation.
