The sun was shining, the house was loud and the air was hyped.
Logan stood with a grin on his face looking out the windows of his home, a lot of his close friends were there chatting behind him, he felt nerves crawling up his spine, but he was excited- today was the first press conference, it was a huge chance to really sell the fight and show just what they thought of their opponents.
Logan wasn't only excited for the fight, but he was finally going to be able to see his younger brother whom had been all around the country for a while now. "There he is," Logan heard one of his friends; Evan say as he peeked out the window beside Logan.
Jake's van pulled up outside with him and his team inside, he would be switching out to ride with Logan to the actual event though.
They had both agreed to show up dressed from head to toe, with suits, jewelry and shades, to really make that first impression as they really debuted as fighters once again.
"Is that Jake?" Mark, another long time friend of Logan's asked, resting his arm on Logan as he looked out. "Yeah look," Logan said watching as the driver came around to open the door for them, Jake stepped out first, he already had on his dress pants and shoes, along with his black undershirt, while his suit coat was being carried in by another worker. He dressed and and bodied the part of the importance they wanted to present, Jake carried himself like a million bucks, and he looked about ready to kill.
"Get the door! You dip-" Logan heard Jakes voice as he finally came through the front door, someone opening it for him. Logan perked up hearing him, he was elated to see his brother in person again, but felt a immediate wash of anxiety when Jake actually stepped into the house with everyone else, Jake didn't mix well with people he wasn't extremely close to, he was only good at faking for the camera, and while he was sure they were both documenting their days leading up to the fight- He couldn't help but be on edge for whenever Jake wasn't filming, and he was around all these people...
"Honey I'm home!" Jake said rounding the corner coming into Logans living room, a grin on his face holding out his arms as he announced himself to Logan. "Yo!" Logan exclaimed coming over greeting his brother. "Jake your back- you look good bro!" Logan said looking Jake and his expensive attire over, "I know," Jake responded still grinning, even though Jake seemed happy, mostly anyone who knew him off camera felt a little uneasy around him, even if they didn't experience the abuse Jake put his workers through, most of them knew about Jake having been in jail previously, and were not certain they could trust him, just his demeanor was always a little, off...
"It's almost go time you ready?" Logan asked, "Yeah, I've been hopping from stage to stage bro, only thing different is I can do what I want on this stage," Jake said with a mischievous look on his face. Logan kept smiling but he felt the air knock out of him a little, if Jake got too upset, he could do anything...All the anxiety leading up till now was weighing on Logan...
Logan wasn't even gonna be on stage with Jake first, he would just be up there with the commentator and his opponent for a while.
"Its time guys, we need to leave now if were gonna make it," One of the coaches announce, Jake put his coat jacket on, and slipped the shades on to his face before smiling at Logan again saying;
"Its show time~"
