The rush of the lights, the cheering, the music starting up, his name as it was announced.... It was electrifying, this is what he lived for; Every time he stood on a stage, looking down at the people below screaming for him, he was right where he was suppose to be, up there he was a star among men- nothing else mattered, he was in the moment, heart thumping with excitement, his nerves tingling, chills flowing through him. To him, it was a drug to be a celebrity, one that he could never get enough of...
The rest of team ten were on edge as they performed, Jake wanted things to run perfectly, but once they stepped out, Jake didn't pay attention to who was really performing with him, he was in a different zone completely, they couldn't tell if he was trying to connect with the fans, or something else was going on...But it didn't matter, Jake would chew them out if they messed up anything, and the fact they couldn't tell when he was silently critiquing them, only made them straighten up more.
By the time they were done working for the night everyone was exhausted, even though they loved the fans and were appreciative of them, having to stay upbeat for so long dancing around and singing, it was draining- rewarding but draining...
Erika flopped on her and Jake's bed at the back of the bus after pushing past the crowd, Jake had to work the longest since he had the most fans coming to see him, more music to preform, and his training for his up coming fight. Erika tried to relax with the time she had alone,
it was all so new and exciting being on tour, and she could have just enjoyed it, if she wasn't worried about glancing the stage for Anthony's expression whenever her and Jake had to perform together...
Erika held tightly to one of the pillows on the bed, letting her fingers squeeze into the fabric, as a way to relieve the stress she felt. Things were going smooth on terms of Jake suspecting anything, he was normally very paranoid, but he trusted Erika, and his mind had too many other things going on to question much.
For Jake, being able to go on tour, and have the rush of these people basically praising him, it was the best feeling he could get after everything he had gone through the previous year, to being locked up, losing friends, and his child passing away. Everything was a good distraction, he was so amped for everything and so tired after he was done, he didn't even find time to smoke anymore, he was proud he was able to get it under control without so much intervention this time, and in his mind he suspected Erika was proud too...
"Erika," Jake said standing over the bed, the door closed behind him separating them from the rest of the bus now. "There's my super star," Erika responded smiling up at Jake, whom grinned back, Jake had on his pajamas now, hair slightly damp from freshening up, he wss the last one on the bus, and was bone tired.
Jake laid down scooting up between Erika's legs which she opened wider for him, as he crawled up, hands on either side of her thighs, while he leaned up to where Erika sat with her back slightly against the wall. "Like my performance?" Jake whispered their faces inches from each other now, "Of course, it was amazing, just like you," Erika whispered back, Jake chuckled before capturing Erikas lips with his own.
Erika brought her hands up running Jer fingers through Jake's hair as she kissed him. It was so quiet in there, all they could hear was the light rumble of the bus moving now, along with each others breathing, and the sound of their lips connecting constantly. It quickly became more vigorous, Erika tightened her grip in Jakes hair, as Jake moved one of his hands to place on Erika's thigh, kneading and it, causing the veins in his hand to bulge with every flex, and Erika to whimper into the kisses;
They both moved against each other with different things in mind, Erika was enjoying it, whilst trying so hard to prove even though she kept secrets, she loved Jake, she loved him deeply... While Jake was excited to just have Erika there, he was finally having a bit of peace in his brain, he was successful with the person he loved most by his side....
Erika began to try and grab at Jake's shirt, as their making out was quickly turning into more, but Jake pushed her hand away, he leaned off of Erika to flop to the side laying on his back, leaving Erika panting and confused, she began trying to get on top of Jake but he only put his hand in the way stopping her.
"That's enough," Jake announced, making Erika frown, Jake only laughed at her and tickled her chin, "We can kiss, but I have a fight coming up," Jake reminded her, still amused at Erika's exasperated expression . "Only a few more months, you can wait can't you?" Make asked, "Jake!" Erika whined running Jer fingers through her hair, feeling frustrated, Jake leaned up kissing her cheek, "Goodnight," He said getting under the blankets while Erika stared at him.
She was so used to it, she looked forward to it even, especially now... But Jake was focused on other things, she hated it though, besides wanting Jake....Could their relationship really last without this most intimate part? They surely loved each other enough right? They could enjoy each others company and make up without sleeping together....
