It wasn't cold, but she still shivered, even the light from the moon scared her, she wanted to hide in the nights darkness
let it cover her and any guilt she was feeling. The adrenaline kept her heart pumping, her palms were clammy, but regardless, she pushed forward.
With every sound the wind made, Erika felt the need to look over her shoulder, it wasn't that far off from the parking lot, but being tucked away on the far right-side of the photo shoots building, it felt wrong, especially knowing her husband was just on the inside.
"Anthony," Erika began saying, her voice quiet, there wasn't a reason she should have to be, she was just talking to a friend...
"Hey Rik..." Anthony responded moving his hand away from his chest, "Are you okay?" Erika asked frowning in concern, Anthony shrugged with a dry chuckle, "Are you hurt?" She asked again seeing how he tried laughing it off, "It is what it is Erika, Jake's a strong guy, he was mad," Anthony responded, he wasn't nonchalant about it, he just figured he knew his boundaries.
"I'm sorry Tony," Erika said, she should have said something, but she stood there idle just like everyone else, "Don't apologize for Jake, you aren't him," Anthony reminded her, Erika reached up placing her hand on Anthony's chest where Jake had pushed him, Anthony got stiff, he swallowed hard looking down at Erika...
Although he ignored it, and even though he knew he couldn't have it, he knew it was wrong...He couldn't say he hated Erika's kiss, in fact, he had always liked the relationship he had with Erika, and the kiss was a step over what they normally did, it was taboo, but he still liked it, but his fear of Jake was stronger...
Anthony placed his hand gently over Erika's, he slowly took her hand off of his chest, he looked at her with sorrowful eyes, he had no idea if Erika felt the same way he did, he didn't know anything about what she was feeling when she did that, because all she told him was that she felt guilty...
"Don't do that," Anthony whispered, "I just wanna help," Erika argued, and she did, but was there a need to touch him? "Don't," Anthony told her, but the look in his eyes as he let her hand go... Erika suddenly felt as though she had done something wrong on Anthony's part as well, he looked hurt almost, past his lazy grin, something else was there....
"Tony-" Erika began saying, but a loud honk startled her, "ERIKA? Where are you???" Erika heard Jake calling for her, a wash of bitterness washed over her, how could she be worrying about how Anthony felt about her? She was married, she was Jake Paul's wife...And she loved him.
"I got to go," Erika whispered, Anthony just nodded looking away, Erika felt bad, but she didn't keep Jake waiting, she walked over seeing Jake sitting in the car, his hand on the horn ready to blow it again before he saw her come into view.
Erika smiled waving at him, Jake rose his eyebrows in a greeting as he watched her walk around the car, she got into the passenger seat closing the door shut, turning around to look at Jake a smile lingering on her face, she was pulled into a kiss with both Jake's hands on the sides of her face, cupping it slightly digging his fingers into her.
Erika gasped as Jake roughly and passionately kissed her, she scooted as far as she could go with the center console blocking her from Jake, his movements drawing her into him, Jake bit harshly into her lip making her whimper, he smirked hearing it as he slowly let his fingers cascade down her face pulling away from her, leaving Erika panting gently, looking him over with wide excited eyes.
"You looked hot at the shoot- don't know if I mentioned it," Jake said smirking again, Erika swallowed hard before laying back into her seat, "Wow," She gasped, "Can I wear that outfit all the time?" She said making Jake chuckle a little, as she sat up adjusting herself,
"So where were you? I was about to tell you what the photo's were for, we're going on tour," Jake told her while he drove them down the street, the lights of the city flashing their faces as they went by, "A tour?" Erika questioned looking at him, "Performing on stage and stuff, we're going to a bunch of states" Jake told her quickly showing her his phone with some of the details on it, "Oh my gosh," Erika said widening her eyes.
"So where were you?" Jake asked again, "I was just looking around the place, waiting for you," Erika told him, as her face turned to the road in front of them, she refused to look at Jake right then, she was lying, and she hated that she knew exactly the right ways to do it to him... "Dope, if you have any songs to perform, this would be the best time to get them out, but audience," Jake told her, "I could perform one? Really?" Erika asked in excitement, she was steadily trying to grow her status, and doing something like this would help, especially after being cut from her job previously...
"If you have something good enough," Jake told her, he made a turn in the car as they finally got on their street, on their way home now.
"Will you review it if I make a song?" Erika looking at him now, "Why?" Jake frowned, "Because I want your opinion, your good at everything you do," Erika chuckled surprised he even asked, Jake smiled a little, "I'll help you," He promised, Erika smiled laying against him while he turned up their long driveway, through the gate.
Jake interlocked his fingers with Erika's as he parked the car, he brought her hand up to his mouth for a kiss making Erika blush.
The air shifted getting uncomfortable, there was danger and tension, the casual talk cut off abruptly, it didn't feel like "husband and wife" together, it was like a stranger you'd need to watch your back around, a sickening feeling came into Erika's stomach, she didn't get that kiss, but Jake's hand gripped hers tighter, his squeeze began hurting, her fingers were throbbing, and her heart was beating hard.
"Why does your hand smell like that? " Jake questioned, he wasn't shouting, he wasn't screaming, but he did sound angry, like he was about to snap at any moment, the low octave of his voice, and the grip on her hand told her this was more dangerous then any screaming, "That's not my cologne," Jake said as his head slowly turned to face her staring her directly in the eyes, fear shooting straight though her body as his nails dug into her soft skin.
In the moment she choked, she couldn't speak right away, what could she say? What our did she have? They are all alone, and Jake looked like he could murder someone without remorse..
