Chapter 62 Brings out the Best

Erika sat in front of the mirror slowly taking her hair out of a towel, she began combing through it as she blow dried, she wore a robe over her lingerie, having just gotten out of the shower, the bathroom was different from hers and Jake's back home, it was beautiful but still felt very foreign, she had to admit she missed her custom vanity back him in hers and Jake's bathroom.

The sun was shining, it was a gorgeous day, not too hot not too cold with plenty of breezes, Erika was eager to get outside and be with Jake, the vacation started off a but surprising, but regardless it had been fun and relaxing, after having her hair basically done she pulled it back in a ponytail throwing off her robe going to pick out her outfit, she had a few things packed, but some were bought on vacation, Jake was certainly spending his boxing check quick, making sure they both had the best of the best. As Erika got dressed and moved on to accessories, her wedding ring caught her eye, but instead of a smile, a pang hit her heart.

Erika and Jake had never been steady, they had a unique start up to their relationship, even the easier moments were difficult, but she did feel that she loved Jake for everything he was, but staring at that ring and thinking of the commitment she made to him, she couldn't help but feel dirty putting it on. Anthony, she kissed him, twice and the second time it was going further than just lips on lips, she didn't feel a deep love for Anthony, in fact she use to fight with him...However he seemed to be there when she had rough moments, especially when they involved her actual husband, she was close to Anthony they had a good friendship, but she should have left it at that, now things were different.

Erika slid her ring on and moved on to a light dusting of makeup, Anthony would always be a special person to her, but sometimes she wondered, did she like him? Or was she seeking some easy love and attention, of she had of been with Anthony her life wouldn't have been so hectic, Jake brought fire, he was exciting, passionate and wild, he was the crazy spark that challenged her everyday, Anthony was level headed and quiet, but he was sweet, she would t have the glamorous life or met her life goals quickly with him, but she would have some steady support that wouldn't be so random like Jake.

*Why am I comparing them? Jake is in a league of his own, I'm married to him, he wants a family with me" Erika thought as she held up her hand to look at the ring, she sighed, she loved Jake, and maybe that was why she couldn't stop thinking of what she had done with Anthony, she felt guilty.

Erika began speeding up getting ready, she didn't have time to think, Jake was waiting on her...

Jake looked up seeing Erika coming towards him, she smiled once they saw each other, she was wearing Jean shorts, and a bright green blouse along with flip flops, shades, earnings and her wedding ring, while Jake wore am open black and green tropical shirt, shorts, shoes, his ring, shades and a sun hat.

"Hot," Jake said as he got up from his chair, Erika giggled hugging him, they pulled back a little, Erika's arms still wrapped around Jake, while he put his sun hat on her, pulling it down on her head s bit before kissing her forehead.

"Want to go shopping first, get lunch, then go boarding?" Jake asked while he continued playing with the flaps of the hat, "Sounds good to me, we should just explore the place after boarding, its gorgeous," Erika said kissing him on the lips, "You're gorgeous," Jake commented making her blush, "I love you," She told him hugging him close again, "I know, me too," Jake told her, making her smile but unknown to him roll her eyes, "Lets go be rich,' Jake told her after they parted from the hug, "Lets," Erika laughed walking out, Jake followed closely behind her, spanking Erika's butt as they left making her gasp, to which he just chuckled closing the door behind them.
