~ 3rd Person POV ~ Gary went back to his car and shut the door "you may drive now Sawyer" he muttered as the chofer gave him a nod "yes sir" he said and started driving "daddy are you mad?" Ashley spoke after a silence "just irritated" the man said keeping his arms crossed and looking out the window "that's the same thing though" the girl mumbled "it is not" Gary sighed as the girl blinked "it is, you're mad" she said "I'm irritated it's different, you wouldn't understand" Gary sighed "not to be nosey sir but Miss Ashley is correct" the chofer said "thank you, see I told ya" Ashley said as Gary sighed "fine fine" he muttered as the chofer smiled
"what was it that Paul wanted you to tell me?" Gary then asked "oh so that's his name, he wanted me to tell you that he's taking Mr. Ketchum to the movies tonight as a date" the girl said as Gary scowled "what the hell" he blurted out in annoyance as the girl blinked "but I told him you have this in the bag daddy" the girl smiled "thanks sweetie but that scum bag is scoring points" he muttered as Ashley kept blinking "gotta step up my game" he told himself
"what's that?" Gary said after a brief silence as his daughter got out what seemed to be a candy box "some candy my boyfriend gave me" she smiled eating some heart shaped chocolates "oh that's nice honey" Gary murmured then realized what she said and blinked "hold the phone, boyfriend??" Gary scowled "yeah he's a boy and he's a friend isn't that a boyfriend?" the auburn haired girl blinked innocently as Gary sighed in frustration "this is too much for one day" he muttered under his breath
"a boyfriend is a boy you like but more than a friend or acquaintance" Gary explained "just like Sir Gary with Mr. Ketchum" the chofer smiled "exactly!" Gary said then turned crimson realizing what the green haired man said "Sawyer!" he yelled in embarrassment as the chofer grinned as Ashley giggled
"anyways" Gary cleared his throat "you can't have a boyfriend till your 16 missy, so you better cut off this so called boyfriend, end of story" Gary said with a sigh looking out the window "but why 16? That's too old! I want a boyfriend now" Ashley pouted with a stomp "16 is the perfect age, now quit complaining" Gary muttered as the girl pouted "how old were you when you had your first girlfriend?" Ashley raised an eyebrow "as a matter a fact 18, I was focused on school and I think you should be too" Gary retorted as the girl scowled
"hmph!" she stomped "just ask Sawyer, Sawyer what age did you have your first girlfriend?" Gary said as the chofer grinned "15 Sir" he chuckled as Gary sighed "nevermind, anyways you need to 16 to get a boyfriend, no exceptions" Gary said as he looked out the window "why not split it in half make it 8?" Ashley giggled as Gary glared at her "make it 18" he muttered "but–" the girl started "20" "daddy!" "30" "stop, and listen!!" "40" he said as the girl opened her mouth "don't make me say 50" the man glared making the girl scowl "hmph!" she crossed her arms with a stomp as the chofer grinned watching the two from his mirror
'gotta love this family' he thought to himself as he continued driving
Ash got ready to go to the movies with Paul, first he showered then got dressed into something nice but comfy which was a pastel pink hoodie and white pants with his hair clip of course "hey, I'm ready" Ash smiled as Paul smiled back "okay, l-let's go" he smiled as Ash followed
The two watched movie which was a drive in one which kept them laughing and smiling with each other "having a good time?" Paul smiled "yeah it's taking my mind off a lot thank you" Ash smiled with a light blush making Paul grin and unconsciously put his hand on the ravenette's thigh as Ash smiled blushing lightly putting his hand over Paul's as they continue watching the movie
the two finished the movie and Paul invited Ash to get a mini snack at the gas station "what do you want to get?" Paul grinned "everything" Ash giggled as Paul chuckled "you're a fatty" he chuckled again as Ash giggled "hm, what can i say i love food" he giggled
Once ordering their food they ate in Paul's car looking at a nice view of the city and Ash smiled at Paul "so how is it going? I barley get to ask you because the only times I communicate with you is when you bicker with Gary" Ash said as Paul sighed "good, besides Gary annoying me everything is going good" Paul said as Ash nodded ignoring the Gary comment "so you like Gary?" Paul murmured "he's very sweet, and a gentleman so I guess so yeah" Ash smiled as Paul scowled "I don't see the appeal in him but whatever" he muttered as Ash rolled his eyes "you just don't see what I see, he's more than a rich guy" Ash mumbled as Paul ignored him knowing it's ruined their supposed date
"I know I didn't mention it but you look really nice Ash" Paul smiled lightly as Ash blushed lightly "t-thank you, you look good yourself" he smiled
Once they got home and got changed into their pajamas, for the meantime they weren't sleepy, Ash spent time in Paul's room while he played video games "told you to steer right" Ash giggled as Paul lost a level "then play it yourself" Paul muttered playfully as Ash giggled "I can't, I'll get addicted, like you" he giggled again as Paul chuckled "shut up" Paul grinned "make me" Ash giggled as Paul tackled him and started tickling him "hey! Stop!" Ash giggled as Paul chuckled and continued
Then they calmed down lying next to each other hearing their breath calm down as well as their laughter, they then sat up and Paul yawned "I should get to sleep i open up the cafe earlier tomorrow, since it's Saturday" he smiled lightly turning off his video game as Ash sat up "yeah, that's fine, goodnight" Ash smiled getting off Paul's bed as he walked off and got the door he turned back to Paul "I almost forgot, thank you for taking me to the movies and the food, I had a good time" Ash smiled and leaned over to Paul kissing his cheek making the older boy blush madly as Ash left the room with a smile.
