Yet another school year of Hogwarts, I was glad to finally be a second year the first year seemed to drag on a little too long, not to mention George and I hadn't pulled the impressive pranks we had planned to, I guess the fact we were first years was a little confronting to say at the least.

This year was going to be good, I could already tell. George and I had already made quite a name for ourselves amongst our fellow Gryfindoors mostly because of our humour that was for sure. The rest of my family, the large Weasley gang were all standing at the edge of the barrier, I glanced up at the ever familiar wall it almost seemed smaller this year, or maybe I was just taller.
I looked at mum who was eyeing me, surely I hadn't done something already
"Fred, you next." She said pointing at the wall
I was about to step forward when I glanced at George, he gave me a look, a look I knew all to well
"He's not Fred, I am!" George responded, I had to bite my tongue it stop me from laughing
Mum looked directly at me as she spoke "oh, I'm sorry, George".
I approached the barrier and started laughing
"I'm only joking, I am Fred!" I yelled running at the wall.
I held tightly onto my trolley and I pushed it at full speed through the Barrier. I almost expected to fall or at least bump into someone on the other side but that wasn't the case.

I immediately took in the familiar sight, although George and I had only been at Hogwarts for one year it felt like this place had been in our lives for much longer. This year was Ron's first year, I looked down at him just as I expected he looked nervous almost like a lost puppy.
"You ok Ron?" George asked noticing my glances, I ruffled Ron's hair as my family and I started walking.

The clumsy nature of our family involved us bumping in to what looked like a first year, at least I had never seen her before. She had a dark brown hair colour, almost boarder line black and was glancing downward at a cat carrier in fact I think she was talking to it, i smirked at this.
"Ow" she said spinning around and immediately confronted with the row of ginger haired people I call family.
Mum jumped right on in and went for an apology doing what mums do best trying to make ease out of this situation, she then went on to introduce each one of her "golden" kids although I did notice she hesitated over whether I was Fred or George, I smiled at this.
"I'm Selina Black" she replied smiling.
I figured she didn't get the message about smiling when saying her last name, I mean her father was a criminal charged for murder, if Sirius Black was my dad I wouldn't be smiling. My father being the careless and head strong wizard he immediately blurted out about her dad and how he feels sorry for her.

The conversion couldn't of taken a more awkward approach if it had tried to, thankfully my mother ended the shortly lived conversation and hushed us all away from her, as I walked past I made sure to mouth the words "sorry" while waving to let her know that I was deeply sorry for that awkward interaction.

Walking alongside George and meeting with the gang of our friends, we wished our family the best of wishes and hoped to see them soon, although deep down we were all hoping not too soon. As the deafening sound of the high pitch whistle it was now time to get onto the train. I stepped into the steps and walked along the carriages, it was nice to see the familiar interior and the smell of the candy on the trolley lady's cart. I walked just in front of George as we managed to find our way to the Gryfindoor section and walk into the carriage closest to the door. With much struggle I placed my over packed trunk on the overhead locker and sat down, I watched laughing as George did the same thing.
"Seriously what did you pack in there?" I asked someone being genuine, I mean he was still struggling.

As more and more people started to join the train and fill in the compartments I found my eyes wondering over to the door to which Selina was walking on she looked so peaceful and unbothered unlike a lot of the other first years, she effortlessly walked over to the Slythein section and walked out of my sighting view. I paused for a moment wondering whether or not she meant to go down their.
"What house was Sirius black in?" I asked as George sat down in front of me
He looked at me with a questioning look before responding with "I'm pretty sure he was in Gryfindoor actually friends with Moony and all of them" George said

That would make sense, coming in possession with the marauders map I had thought I had seen his name appear on the surface. I nodded to George letting him know that I registered his response and didn't just ignore him. I eyed the doorway as Lee Jordan came into the carriage.
"I thought I missed you guys I went up and down the entire carriage looking for you two you know that?" He said slightly puffing. Lee was one of George and i's best friends and I was glad to see him. I laughed at his slight breathlessness.
"Are you trying out for the quidditch team again this year?" Lee asked enthusiastically. That caused a conversation to start. I quickly looked out the window noticing the train had begun to move, it was only a short matter of time before I was sitting in the Hogwarts dinning room.
