I stood glancing at my reflection in the bathroom mirror, thankfully for me the white hair and old appearance had gone, I was now back to usual self. I had to admit that being in my fifth year of Hogwarts and the Triwizard Tournament coming to the school, it wasn't George and I's best idea to put our names in the cup, my hair was stained grey for weeks, we should of listened to Hermione that was for sure. I still didn't understand how Harry had managed to get his name pulled out of the cup and secure a spot in the tournament, I think a lot of people were annoyed about it. I on the other hand just wanted to know how he pulled it off, although he continued to say he hadn't placed his name in the cup, and I suppose I had to agree with him.

I was looking forward to the Yule Ball, which was vastly approaching, I had managed to find a pair of nice enough dress robes and shoes, which was good, I was happy that I wouldn't be stuck with my family robes I assumed Ron would get the package soon.
"Cmon Fred hurry up!" I heard George yell from outside, I rolled my eyes once before walking out.
"I'm here jeez" I laughed while replying to him.

We walked side by side and headed to the library, as I opened the door I realised that it had become quite busy almost all of the tables were full, including the divided tables of Ron and his friends and the Slytherins. Just like I had predicted in her first year, Selina Black had become a permanent member of the Slytherin bully gang. We had been friends for a little while at the start but that wasn't the case any more. I watched George find a vacant table and sit down, I did the same.
"Did Angelina Johnson end up saying yes?" George asked, I realised I had forgotten to tell him.
"Oh right yeah she did good hey?" I asked back rhetorically, he laughed nodding.
"Did you take my potions book?" I asked George suddenly aware that it was missing from my hand, I looked up he looked puzzled
"No, you leant it to Lee remember" George reminded me
"Oh that's right after the game against hufflepuff" As I spoke George nodded.
"Well I've got to pick up another one I'll be back" I said standing up, I didn't wait for a response from George instead I walked away and turned into the book aisle I was looking for.

I had only been in the aisle for not even a minute before someone turned the corner and slammed into my head, I immediately placed my hand on my head trying to somewhat comfort the now throbbing pain. I glanced up to meet the eyes of Selina Black.
"Shit sorry my fault" she immediately said, looking genuinely sorry
"You have a habit of running into me Lina" I replied laughing,
"Definitely not my intentions I came for a potions book" She said holding her head laughing in response to my laughter.
"What a coincidence I also came for a potions book" I said scanning the bookshelf, looking for the exact book I had leant Lee earlier in the week. I eventually found the one I was looking for, I picked it up and held it rather proud of myself to be completely honest. She responded in the same way, scanning the shelf and picking up her own potions book, I smiled in response. After a small round of small talk we looked directly at me, I met her gaze with a puzzled glance.
"Hey Fred" she said suddenly
"Hey Selina" I said in response, slightly laughing at the sudden seriousness in her voice, I wondered to myself what she could possible want after all this time of not talking, or hanging out.
"Do you have a date for the ball?" She asked
"Can you believe it but I do, I'm taking Angelina Johnson you? i said making a joke before asking her the same question.
"Uhh yeah I'm going with Theo" she replied with a half smile, i nodded at this response. Out of everyone she could of gone with Theodore Nott, now that was more than annoying.
"The Nott kid, you can do better" She laughed at my response and shrugged
"Well you can do better than Johnson.... anyway I'll see you around Freddie" she said before turning and walking away. I watched her walk back to the slytherin table, as soon as she sat down I met the harsh gaze of the other table members, I didn't understand what their problem was with me. It seemed as though they were annoyed at her for socialising with someone outside of the slytherin house.

With my book in my hand I walked back to where George was now writing notes, as I passed Ron's table I couldn't help but over hear a rather funny, argument coming from him and hermione. I looked at the two of them as Hermione was practically scolding him. I overheard Ron mention that he didn't have a date to the Yule ball, that didn't surprise me at all if I was being honest, I mean after all it was Ron.

As I sat down George closed his book and looked me directly in the eyes, I was worried as he started speaking
"You know Ginny has a date to the ball?!" I was shocked, not that Ginny wouldn't be able to get a date, but she was our younger sister we had to be over protective sometimes.
"Wait really, who's the "lucky" guy?" I asked making sure I said the word "lucky" sarcastically
"Neville Longbottom" he responded, I immediately turned my head to where Neville was sitting, he met my gaze and turned a bright red, he shifted back into his seat looking uncomfortable.
"Well we don't have to worry about him very much" I said trying to ease the tension, George and I bursted into laughter at this thought.

As I thought to myself, I realised I couldn't wait for the ball, I was honestly looking forward to it.
