I wasn't surprised by the fact Vess had chosen truth or group has absentmindedly started following a pattern in the game. My eyes immediately rose looking at Harry, surely he wouldn't directly come out and say it, not here at least.

Harry thought for a brief moment, he eyebrows ruffled together as if he working on a challenging problem.

"Do you have any family secrets? And in terms of your brother how close are you?" Harry aske. He was sitting up and looking directly at Vess. I was sure that asking two questions was against the rules of the game, but Veritaserum was strong stuff, Vess wouldn't be able to stop herself from blurting out each answer.

I watched eyes fixated on her every move as she took a slow and careful sip. She gulped twice and breathed in a long heavy breathe before she opened her mouth once but immediately shut it letting no sound escape.

"Yes I have family secrets Harry what about it!?" She asked sharply, maybe this whole truth or double truth game wasn't the best idea, it hadn't put people in the very best of moods.

"You didn't answer the second part" I blurted out, Vess turned to me glaring.

I caught a glimpse of Freddie's face, he raised his eyebrows as if asking me what game I was really playing, I shrugged my shoulders mouthing the words silently; "I'll tell you later".

"You're in this too? Draco and I weren't the close up until a few months ago now we're closer in more ways that you know" She said before biting her tongue as if she was trying to hold in the next few words she was meaning on saying.

To anyone else in the room I suppose those questions and answers would of seemed a little odd but nothing to it, for Harry and I they somewhat confirmed, without directly saying it, that Vesper Malfoy was a death eater.

I don't know at what point directly the game ended, maybe it was my doing? As my eye lids became heavier and heavier I fell into a soundless sleep, which I assumed would end the game. I was the first to wake, it was early by the outside lighting I assumed only four AM, although I was wide awake and there was no chance of me regaining my prior sleeping state.

I looked around the room, squinting slightly as it was still fairly dark, only the lighting of a singular wand was lit. Everyone looked so peaceful, minus Ron who was obviously having a bad dream by the worried expression draw across his face.

I made the decision to stand, carefully stepping over hermione until I made my way to the doorway. I hadn't been to this house in years, the once happy place where dad and I would share laughs and make jokes was now full of death and darkness.

"Lumos" I whispered pointing my wand directly out, a small but effective light presented itself on the tip. I ran my finger along the walls, still walking until I found the room I was looking for. I twisted the door handle, slightly afraid I would see a death eater or someone like that present, luckily that wasn't to be.

As I entered the room, I made sure to close the door behind me, just in case.

The room itself was empty, I had taken most of the furniture away the last time I had been here, although the same wallpaper remained. My family bloodline. I scanned the wall until I found my father, Sirius Black. His once colourful spot was now a darkened patch, representing that he wasn't alive.

I don't know why or what came over me but as my knees buckled under me I practically fell onto the ground and started crying. I could feel the damp salty tears running down my face. I was trying to not make a sound more so I slight whimper here and there. After a while of crying I wiped my face, grabbing a hold of my emotions and putting them back into check. The tears had stopped flowing although I knew that if I returned to the rest of the group now it would look like I had been crying, something I didn't want.

I stood back up, dusting myself clean, with one finally look at the family wallpaper decor I sighed

"Goodbye dad" I murmured as I opened the door.

I jumped back immediately, flinching my the person I saw. The person too jumped back, in squinted and shined my wand into the face of the person on the other side of the door.

"Bloody hell Selina you scared me" that was all I needed to know that it wasn't an intruder, it was Ron Weasley.

I tried to regain some form of composure as I spoke

"Are the .... Are the others awake?" I asked, my voice was shaky and had broken severely, although I didn't know if I had to worry about my appearance to Ron.

"Nah everyone else was still asleep, I didn't know where you had gone though so I came looking and you tried to give me a heart attack" Ron said brushing it off

"Sorry" i said my, I managed to keep my voice steady volume, regardless if i said only one word.

"Right well anyway I'm going to head back you coming?" Ron asked sounding bored as ever, if only he knew the journey we had really gotten ourselves into.

I shook my head, I could fell the tears forming in my eyes again and I knew that if I stayed here much longer I would break down right here in front of Ron, which would make for a very uncomfortable situation for the both of us.

"Right ok, don't be too long" Ron said turning as he walked away I could hear the creaking sound of the floorboards until I heard the sound of a door shutting.

Just as expected I started crying although I tried my best to be silent as I continuously kept wiping them away from my eyes. I had made my way to the bathroom and splashed ice cold water on my face, giving me a shock to pull it together. Being in this house was a constant reminder of my dad and it was hard to keep it together.

I stared at my reflection i sighed figuring I should return to the rest of the group they would probably start wondering where I was. My puffy eyes had gone down and my face was no longer red, only subtle hints that I had been crying remained.

I unlocked the door and headed to the room.

By the time I had my way inside everyone was awake and as soon as I opened the door everyone's wands were pointed directly at me.
