When it came my turn to face the boggart, I didn't know what to expect. We had just seen, Selina practically battled a mirror. Although the fear didn't seem centred on the mirror itself.

I took my stance in front of the cupboard and as he had done previously, professor Quirrell opened the door and out came the boggart, a large whiff of smoke encasing it, so for a short moment, I couldn't see what it actually was.

Out stepped, or rather slithered a large snake. Quirrell's lip's perked up in a small smile, but as he noticed my staring, it fell into a small frown, I casted the charm and the snake began wearing a large puffer coat and began slipping everywhere, I started laughing but something about this specific snake had chilled me.

Soon after everyone had gone, I exited the classroom with my '' group '' I suppose you could call us, as we had a little spare time before our next class, Ron suggested we go to the great hall and study.

" Yeah right Ron, you mean study all of the great hall's delicacies? " I asked in response, he smiled at me, his sarcastic smile.

" Precisely Malfoy. " He answered, with a sly nod. I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help the smile that formed across my lips. Neville looked like he might burst out in fit's of laughter at this small interaction.

" Seriously guy's, what do we want to do? " Hermione asked, slipping her hand's into her robe pockets. Harry seemed to think of an idea, opening his mouth, but immediately shutting it. I raised my eyebrows, nodding, inclining he should go on further.

" We could visit Hagrid quickly. " He suggested, we all nodded along with this idea, having thought of nothing better and I did enjoy Hagrid's company quite well, it seemed Harry did too.

Neville looked a little uncomfortable at this idea, but still agreed to come along. We all began the small walk to where we presumed Hagrid's hutch was, we all grinned as we saw Hagrid's large frame sitting on the steps.

He looked at us confused, but beckoned we walk over, so willingly we all did, minus Neville who again strayed back a little. I slowed my pace to walk alongside him.

" Hey Neville - what's up? " I asked, with honest sympathy. He looked over at me, a slight red tone taking on his cheeks. He looked down at his robes, as he played with the hem of his shirt.

" Ah just, Hagrid's very large.. " I gave him an incredulous look. " no not, size large! Like height large, it's quite.. over-bearing, I don't know this sound's stupid. " He finished with, almost searching my eyes for something.

I scratched at my wrist nervously, not being a very good comforter.

" That's completely uh.. understandable, but Hagrid seems like such a lovely man. I'm sure he wouldn't try and kill you. " I smiled proud at this sentiment but Neville looked slightly mortified. Was it because I brought up the whole killing part? Maybe that was a little bit too much.

He nodded, petting my shoulder with a grateful smile nonetheless as we reached the hut. Hagrid smiled at each of us in turn, Neville looked slightly less uncomfortable now.

" How may I help you? " He asked us, still smiling at the five of us in turn. I was right. He was a lovely man.

" Well we had some time to spare and thought why not come down. " Harry explained, Hagrid nodded and opened the door to his hut so we could step inside.

We spent the rest of our time there, conversing with Hagrid over some tea he had made. The tea was in obnoxiously large mug's but I didn't mind much, I felt quite content sitting there.

It felt as if we had barely been there 5 minutes, when Hagrid informed us, our next class would be beginning quite soon. We all frowned at this news, even Neville but we left soon enough and began walking back to Hogwarts.

" What's next? " Ron asked, looking up at the large buildings that made up the place we'd now be staying in. Harry considered this for a short moment.

" Potions. " Hermione informed him, after no one else had answered.

I swear to god, this girl knows everything.

We made it to the potion's room and it was as well an exceptionally boring class, except for maybe Snape scolding Harry. Sure I was Harry's friend but it was still funny nonetheless, straight after potions we were brought to our History of Magic class which was slightly more interesting.

Although we weren't focusing on the actual history of magic, we learnt about the founder's of Hogwarts and the founders of the houses, which was exceptionally interesting to me. Finding out that I was a part of one of the well respected house's was quite good to hear, whereas Slytherin was a nationally hated house.

Haha Draco.

" Excuse me sir? " Harry had asked, his first sentence spoken in this class. The professor turned around and nodded.

" Excuse this if it is irrelevant but how exactly does the sorting hat work? " He inquired, the professor shook his head, waving his hands.

" No question is a silly question. " He told us and then began his large rant over the sorting hat, I say rant as if it were a bad thing but it as quite cool to hear what was the reason behind me being sorted into Gryffindor.

" The sorting hat, is almost like a living being. Except a mind reading living being, it can see inside the deepest corners of your brain to rat out your good traits and your not so good traits. The sorting hat, despite being a hat, is quite a smart individual, easily weighing up these traits to determine where your brain sits in the house system, which we covered earlier today. " as he finished, we were all dismissed out of class.

If every day was going to be like this, I would sure enjoy my time here.
