I got up to leave the classroom, i glanced at Theo who's face shown two dozen different types of confusion.

I didn't have the time or nerves to explain now.

I was marching quickly to the common room.
I heard mr Flitwick call after me but i couldn't care less.

I heard Tom's heavy footsteps behind my back and didn't stop until i was there.

I crossed my arms over my chest and turned around to face him.

He was standing closer than i expected and i had to take a step back to make some distance between us.

"You have thirty seconds to explain yourself before i start throwing fists." I didn't bother to hide the fury in my voice, quite the opposite- i wanted him to know.

"I'd love to see you try to fight me." He chuckled.

"I had an O in martial arts in Durmstrang. Do not underestimate me Tom." The amusement left his face.
He stared at me blankly.

"That's twenty seconds-"
"I wanted to find your biological father-" his eyes fell to my clenching fists and he hesitated before he continued. "-so that's you would forgive me."

That's one crappy explanation.

"So let me get this straight; you fucked up, i gave you another chance, which you know i never do. Then you disappeared for over two weeks without a word to find my biological family, after i told you many times to drop it." My anger was starting to overwhelm me.

I was seeing red.

My nails started to tear my skin as they dug deeper with each spoken word.

"Izzy..." Tom's brows furrowed together and his expression turned into worry. "..Izzy"

I started shaking uncontrollably.

Tantrum taking over my body.

I was submitting to it willingly.

In that moment i wanted to make him hurt.

He scratched open my old wounds.

Wounds that took years to turn into scars.

"Izzy, your eyes are glowing." Tom's face flashed a new emotion- fear.

I could barely register the words coming out of his mouth.

It felt like i was a predator and he was my prey.

"Here." He frantically took the raven ring off of his finger and took my hand that was still tightly curled into a fist.

I was still observing his face, not moving an inch.

I had a feeling if i would take action now, there would be a dead body.

I finally glanced down as Tom forced my hand open, pushing Kai's ring under my matching one.

The raven's head connected to the rest of it's body, making it's eyes glow white for a second.

It made me instantly calmer.
As if it was returning a piece of my soul that i thought was long gone.

I looked at Tom once again.
I knew this only made him more curious.
I could see he wanted to question me, but he decided against it.
