CHAPTER THIRTEEN

FEW DAYS LATER

I woke up to the smell of Alec’s scent beside me, he was hugging me, and we slept in a spooned position. Ever since I’d given up and let him in, he has been sleep in my room. He’d told my father it was to protect me more and the old man wasn’t fooled and I knew that he knew.

We’d had sex again last night and the condom had broken. Alec kept panicking and I had to pretend to panic, they haven’t guessed I see. Even my mother hadn’t guessed that I couldn’t get pregnant. I had sex a lot of times with my mates and they wanted kids but I couldn’t give them any and I guess it was a blessing more than a curse.

I can never die and like my father said it’s not right for a parent to bury their child. If my children were to be vampire then maybe they’d live, but werewolf? They’ll eventually die. I move Alec’s arm away from my tummy and turned really slow so as to not wake him. I just wanted to see him sleep.

I don’t love him but I could see how he loved me, it’s been a few days and no man has touched me, Alec just won’t allow it. I couldn’t train or spar with other werewolf, it was cute and romantic you could say. The thought of his love for me made me blush.

I peeked under the cover to see if we were still naked and damn he was butt naked. I was just staring as his dick and small growled left me which also woke up Alec, “like the view, princess?” I jumped and let the covers go. If my cheeks weren’t blood red before, they were now.

“Actually yes I like the view, so what? You’re mine.”  I said and pulled him for a kiss, and we went another round in bed and another in the shower.

“Carry me around the garden, Alec, pretty please.” he turned his back to me as to motion for me to get on and I squealed. “Yay!” and jumped on his back. He made it look like I weighed like a feather but I knew how heavy I was, like come on, nobody could take my feet off the ground unless I wanted them too.

We went down the stairs and to the garden, “Alec, I was thinking, I want a life, away from all this, training and father and you know. I want to feel death someday.”

With my words he just stopped and let me down, then turned to face me and held my hand, “what’s with this crazy talk, Katherine, you know you can’t die.”

“That’s what you think, the reason why I wanted magic is because I think I have the power to isolate my body, like the ones you see on that movie series, Vampire diaries when they put a stake to an original’s heart they stay dead and frozen.”

He looks really worried this time, “I don’t want to hear this ever again, Katherine. You of all people must live, you are our princess, don’t be selfish and only think of yourself. If you die, what will happen to your kind? They will wage war.”

“But, I want to die too. I want to go through the cycle of life, Alec. Maybe one day I’ll love you like you love me maybe we won’t meet our mates and we’ll be together and when the time comes for you to leave, I want to leave with you.”

“Can we just change the subject? This conversation is for another day, love” and with that I didn’t argue because before I could even try he pulled me and locked my lips with his kiss which lasted very long till one of the kids came tugging on my dress.

“Play with us princess!” I nodded and went off with the kids, the kids were children of warriors and guards and when they grew up they too will fight beside me and should know what I looked like.

ALEC’S POINT OF VIEW

 

I can’t believe that kid took her away from me; I frowned as she followed the kid to his other friends. I sat on the ground and watched my beautiful princess play, running around, reminding me of six years ago.

-FLASHBACK-

“Alec! Isaac! Come on play with me!” Katherine called over from the lake.

“Katherine, Isaac and I have been training for days, we’re really tired. We’ll play later on.” I replied as I turned back to talk to Isaac about Kevin, and in a blink, she was there standing right in front of me between Isaac and I.

“I said play with me, there is nobody else to play with, the kids are at school.” she pouted but I was really tired, I wasn’t lying and if I were, she would know it.

“Why would you want to play? Aren’t you like five hundred years old? Playing is for kids, Katherine.”

“Yes, I’m five hundred years old but the age that I take up is the age that I’ll act like, it’s one of the reason why I never age myself into one year old. The youngest I’ll ever go is eight and that’s that, so come on, Alec please!” this time she started pulling my hand and Isaac’s and boy was she strong she was practically dragging us by our tail.

“Alright, Katherine, If we play with you I want you to give your word you won’t force us to play Barbie dolls with you?” she giggled at my words but nodded anyways.

“Katherine, I’m starving come grab your bag and I’ll take you out for lunch,” she look up at me but still continued playing and so I did what every man would do. I walked up to her and she just smiled at me and I smiled back before I carried her and walked into the house with her hitting on my back.

“Put me down, Alec!” and she continued pounding and shouting curse after curse which only made me smirk.

“Oh stop struggling, you and I know you can get down if you want, plus I know for the fact that you haven’t attempted to get off because you like the view behind there.” I said cockily and she did the unthinkable, she slapped my ass.
