Chapter twenty

It has been one week, and I am getting weaker without Zadkiel, my body is too weak to move now, I couldn’t imagine how Zadkiel would be like, worst than me for sure.

Alec has taken care of me, I really cared for him and I am scared to hurt him, me leaving him for Zadkiel is just not fair.

 A black hummer came up the drive way, and I could smell Zadkiel’s scent, it was eleven, evening. My wolf was going crazy in me as the car drove closer. I was in the arms of Alec at the moment, and got off as the door to the car opened and the alpha got out followed by Zadkiel. I looked down at him with a smile, my wolf was screaming for me to go to him but I couldn’t.

He looked up at me, and he does look worse than me but it looks like he can cover it better than me.

Alec walked to my side, “I think you should sleep with him tonight.” I look at him in shock and gave him a punch on the shoulder.

“I meant just sleep in a bed with him not sex.” I glared at him.

“Your wolf needs its mate, love, you can’t keep her back, or she will die.” I glared again.

“Don’t forget, love. I am no, ordinary wolf, my wolf is strong and can live, with you by our side, darling.” I gave him a kiss.

“Katherine” erghhh I was getting frustrated. I didn’t need pressure from him.

 “What, love?” he just stared at me and I know what I had to do.

“Fine, give me a kiss and I’ll go.” He gave me a peck and I was ready to go but Alec spoke out again.

“Tomorrow, when you and the future alpha get enough sleep, I am going to round the land and I want you with me, we need to talk about this.” I nodded and went to the house.

It was late and I thought that everybody would be sleeping but I was wrong, as I was sneaking to Zadkiel’s room, the alpha spotted me and I knew I was busted.

“Come here a moment, princess. I want to have a word.” I nodded and walked into the kitchen and sat on the chair opposite to the alpha.

“I know you are tired, princess,” he spoke but before he could continue I cut him.

“Please call me, Katherine; I’m not used to being called princess. Only Isaac every called me that and he is still living.” I joked even when I was really weak.

“Alright Katherine, My son isn’t in good shape right now and he needs you, I know you are only here for the toilet, I know your wolf can live without Zadkiel’s but Zadkiel can’t, please stay with him tonight, to heal his wolf and yours, I don’t like Alec and it is only because of Zadkiel.” I glared at him

“So I’m suppose you won’t like Uriel as well, since you know.” I waited for something but nothing happened.

“Does he know?” I asked and he shook his head, “the twins aren’t fond of each other since my mate passed and Zadkiel might kill his brother for your past.” I nodded.

“I am really sleepy, I’ll go to him now.” he nodded and I got off the chair.

Erghh I think it look me an hour to get to his room, damn him, did this damn house had to be three stories and why did he had to make his room at the end. I opened the door slowly hoping he would still be asleep, the room was dark and I felt my way to the bed.

He coughed and I jumped, I thought he was asleep.

“You’re awake?” I asked

“Yes,” he answered. “What are you doing here?” he asked me.

“I’m not feeling well, and if I feel this fucked up, so I know you would feel more fucked up and my wolf won’t stop bugging me.”

“Oh,” he spoke weakly ,“so you’re only here to see if I was alright?”

I was going to nod but it was dark almost made myself feel stupid, “yes.”

He coughed again. “Zadkiel?” he hummed as to say yes. “Can I sleep with you tonight?” I finally got to the bed and sat on it.

“Please do” I felt him make space for me and I lay with him, covers on me.

But he didn’t touch me, it was a king size bed and so he had space to not touch me but I didn’t know why I wanted him to touch me. “Goodnight, Katherine.” he spoke again.

“Zadkiel, can you hold me please?”

“Is this a dream? I’ve always dreamt of holding you.” I smiled at his words.

“No, it’s not a dream, please can you hold me.” He came closer to me and wrapped his arms around me; I could hear his wolf purred and I kissed his neck.

“Goodnight, Zadkiel. Please be here when I wake up,” I felt his head nodded and I was out.

I woke up like three times, thanks to his snoring and every time I kissed his lips to shut him up, the snoring stops for like fifteen minutes before sounding back up, I know his wolf was awake and it was him who stopped Zadkiel’s snoring, to help me and my wolf sleep.

It was three in the morning and I just wanted to sleep, he was sleeping in peace with me in his arms but I wasn’t with his noise, I had to admit, his snoring turned me on a bit. I got out of his hug and turn him slowly to lay him straight and I got on him, not giving all my weight, I started rubbing his thighs as I kiss his neck and jaw and licking too.

His wolf was purring and he got too excited, I stayed like that for ten minutes and he started moaning and I know the was half asleep and awake, it made me smirk. “Are you awake, Zadkiel?” I whispered softly in his ears and he nodded his head.

“Did you have a nice sleep, love?” I whispered and lick his neck more and he moaned.

“Yes.” I patted him hard on his chest till he was really awake.

“Good, now let me sleep.”

I got off him and he growled, “can you just sleep like that?” he asked

“Like what, on top of you? But your dick is sticking out, darling.” I know he was blushing even if I could see it. “How about this, if you stop snoring and let me sleep, I’ll sleep on top of you, since your wolf clearly loved it.”

“I snore?” he asked and I could hear the confusion in his voice “Yes! You woke me up like three times, and I had to kiss you to get your wolf to shut you up, I need sleep, so please.”

He murmured, “Alright” and I got back on him and lay on his chest, his chest was vibrating.
