AMANDA'S POV

"Welcome to my house again" Uche says as we both walk inside, he hands me my bag so he can close the door. The house still smells like oranges and it's refreshing.

"Make yourself comfortable ma'am" I roll my eyes at him and take a sit close to the tv, Kelechi is sitting on the couch and he's dozing off

"I think Kelechi wants to sleep" I tell Uche, he walks towards him and sighs placing his hands on his waist

"He must be really tired" I tell Uche as Kelechi finally closes his eyes and lets himself sleep

"Yeah tired from running around the compound" I laugh at him

"I'll be right back let me take him inside the room"

"Okay" I say while nodding my head at him, he carries Kelechi bridal style and disappears inside the house. I make myself more comfortable on the chair, I notice the picture Kelechi showed me of his Dad sitting on the TV stand, it wasn't there before so they must have decided to put it there recently

"Okay I'm back did you miss me?" Uche says as he walks back into the sitting room, I roll my eyes at him

"Are you always this playful?" He just shrugs his shoulders as a reply, he is holding a laptop in his left hand and he drops it on the small table

"You guys decided to leave the picture here?" I ask Uche pointing to the picture of his father, he looks to the direction I'm pointing

"Oh yeah, my mom decided to leave it here because well after he died and we moved back here she took out all his pictures from the sitting room"

I nod my head at him so he can continue

"Because I think it reminded her of him a lot and she didn't want that constant reminder but after you left my house that day Kelechi really wanted to keep the picture there so she let him"

"That's sweet, I carry a picture of my dad in my wallet" I mistakenly blurt out

"Can i see him?" He asks me, I nod my head at him. I reach out for my tiny bag and remove my wallet from it. I gently remove the picture of my dad from my wallet so it doesn't tear, the picture is really old and the ends are beginning to wear off because I'm constantly folding it

"Here" I hand him the picture, he collects it and instantly smiles when he looks at it

"You look a lot like your dad Dede"

"Everyone tells me that you know but I don't see it really" he laughs at me

"Well you do, you look like him a lot, I know I look like my own dad"

"I'll agree with that" he laughs at me before grabbing his laptop from the table, he sits on the couch Kelechi was dozing on earlier and places the laptop on the pillow on his laps

"You know you have to sit here with me to be able to watch the movie?" He informs me, I knew that. I move to sit with him on the couch

"So what type of movies are you into Dede?"
