Your Eyes Tell // Park Jimin {BOOK TWO}

~ 52 ~

Saturday 12:34 pm:

Me and Jimin were back at our home in Seoul. The kids are also back. I was in the kitchen while Jimin was upstairs, taking a shower. I heard a thump then crying.

"Mom!" Soo-Jin shouted, running into the room.

"What happened? What was that noise?" I asked.

"Jae fell down and hit his arm on the coffee table." She said.

I ran into the living room and ran to Jae.

"Mommy~" He cried.

"How did he fall?" I asked Soo-Jin, while I helped him stand up.

"He was running around the coffee table." She told me.

"This is why I said no running in the house because something like this could happen." I said. "Soo-Jin when you're dad gets out of the shower, tell him that I took Jae to the hospital." I said.

"Okay mom." She said.

I grabbed my keys and wallet before we walked to the car. I buckled him in and got in the car myself then started the engine. I drove to the hospital while Jae was in the backseat crying.

I parked the car in the hospital parking lot and shut the engine then got out. I got Jae and we went inside. We went to the reception desk.

"My son fell and hurt his arm." I said.

"Okay, fill this out and a nurse will come get you both soon." She said, handing me a clipboard with a paper and pen.

I filled it out when a nurse came and got Jae and had us wait in an exam room. The nurse took the stuff I filled out.

"My arm hurts mommy." Jae whined.

"I know it does sweetheart." I said, when the door opened and the doctor walked in.

"Hello Mrs. Park and hi there Jae, what seems to be the problem?" Dr. Lee asked.

"Jae fell and hit his arm pretty hard on our coffee table." I said.

"Okay, let's have a look at your arm little man." He said. He gently held his arm and Jae screamed in pain. "I'm going to get an x-ray done so I can look at his bone to see if it's broken." He said.

"Okay." I said.

"We'll be leaving your mommy for a bit, okay little man?" He said.

"No, I want to stay with mommy." Jae said.

"Jae, it's alright." I said. "I'll be right here waiting for you." I said. "I promise." I added.

"Okay." Jae said.

They then walked out of the room when my phone vibrated. I pulled it out of my pocket and looked at it to see a message from Jimin.

Jimin - How's Jae doing?

Me - The doctor is getting an x-ray of his arm to see if it's broken

Jimin - Okay, text me when you're coming home

Me - I will

Jimin - Love you baby

Me - Love you too Jimin

The door then opened and Dr. Lee walked in with Jae. He hung the x-ray up on the light box and turned it on, showing the bones in his arm. He examined it before speaking.

"He broke his ulna, the bone right here." Dr. Lee said, pointing at a part of his arm.

"What does that mean?" Jae asked.

"It means you have to get a cast on your arm so you don't bend your arm." He said. "And you'll wear a sling." He added.

"Okay." I said.

After his cast was put on, we left to get his pain prescription then headed home after I messaged Jimin that we're on our way home. I opened the front door and we walked inside. Jimin was in the living room with the twins in their playpen and Soo-Jin was seated beside him.

"Daddy! Look at my arm!" Jae shouted, getting ready to run to him.

"Jae, no running in the house." I said, sternly.

"Sorry mommy." Jae apologized and walked to Jimin.

"I see and that's pretty cool but now do you see why me and mommy doesn't want you running in the house?" Jimin said.

"Yeah and I won't do it again." Jae said. "I promise mommy and daddy." He said.

We then spent the rest of the day watching movies in the living room together then we ate dinner and put the kids to bed. Me and Jimin changed into our pajamas and laid down in bed.

"Goodnight Jimin." I said, cuddling up to him and put my head on his shoulder and my hand on his chest.

"Goodnight baby." He said, kissing the top of my head.
