A/N- Don't hate me.
I realize it has taken me over a year to end this fic for you guys- but alas, here I am. Ready to deliver for you. I hope I give you the ending you all deserve and asked for.
The song that should be playing in your head this entire chapter is Turning Page by Sleeping At Last (think woodsy, whimsical twilight vibes). This song just makes me feel things, I hope it does the same for you.
Enjoy, loves <3

Adam's POV:
"Are you nervous?"
That was the question I had been asked at least a million times leading up to this day, and every time my answer was the same. "Not in the slightest". Marrying Joanne felt good, but marrying you felt right. This was the day that you had been waiting your entire life for, you just didn't know it until you met her.
Sitting here reading over your vows, you weren't sure what more you could say. Somehow, after weeks of going back and revising, you were able to perfectly construct what you felt was everything you could possibly put into words for this woman. This woman who quickly had consumed your world and turned it upside down in the best possible way.
The wedding planner was running around behind you, trying to put last minute touches on your suit and make sure not even the tiniest lint was attached to your solid black suit. The only pop of color was the emerald green tie and pocket square lying precisely on your chest.
No nerves, but excitement coursed through your veins at the idea of seeing your beautiful (almost) wife walk down the aisle, ready to spend the rest of her life with you. You pondered what kind of dress she would wear, what her hair would look like, if she would be crying, would you be crying? It didn't matter, all you wanted was to take her hand in yours and finally slip on the ring to make her officially yours. Though she had been yours all along, this solidified it for both of you, and you couldn't be more excited.
The wedding was small, consisting of only her immediate family and friends, and the kids, obviously. Connor was going to be the cutest best man, his little suit matched yours complete with the mini emerald green tie.
You looked down at your watch- 30 minutes to go until you finally see your wife.

Your POV
Your held your breath as your mom and sister buttoned the back of your dress. You chose to go with a form fitting dress with a plunging neckline, that was all lace at the top and down the sleeves, and silk down the entire bodice with a long train. It hugged you in all the perfect places and truly made you feel beautiful.
Everyone was rushing around you but you felt like you were in an entirely different world, you couldn't believe after all this time that you were finally getting to marry the man of your dreams. It dawned on you how crazy your life was, and how you got to this point. The fact that it started with a nannying job, turned relationship, turned attempted murder, turned engaged and now you're about to be married. All of the crazy things that had happened in between when you first saw Adam walk to the front door of his home to greet you- and you wouldn't have changed anything. Despite almost literally dying, you were still standing here ready to marry this wonderfully large man.
You fiddled with your vow book in your hands. You just wanted to word vomit everything in it to him right now, but you had to stifle your urges and wait until the ceremony. You were grateful Adam agreed that a small, intimate wedding would be best, because the idea of reading your most vulnerable emotions off to a bunch of people felt unsettling to you.
