Who are we in this world?
Us here with pen in hand,
Or searching for a new tale.
I say are similar to an old vase,
One like the Greeks made ages ago.
We are a vase that tell a story,
And in it tales of heroes and villains,
Love and hate and good and evil.
But no one of us is a great writer alone.
Alone and singled out,
We become like pieces of broken pottery.
Sharp. Harmful. Dangerous.
That is why we must unite into one community.
Fit in our place,
And respect one another's places.
For we are today's generation of writers,
And we can be remembered together,
Or shattered apart.
